“I've just had the chance to try one of the feta cheese "rogche" and I was actually quite surprised that it was way more delicious than the one I last tried back home. Very friendly and charming girls at the till, that make you feel like home atmosphere. “Walked in late lunch. Ordered bacon and egg soft bap. After debating which bread I wanted roll, sandwich or soft bap. Has got to be one of the best and reasonably priced lunch break for a long time. Staff very friendly and willing to help. And will literally go out of their way to accommodate if possible. Amazing service and food”

“I've only ever driven through Cheam before my visit yesterday, a trip by public transport (tram and train) from Croydon specifically to visit the Whitehall museum, housed in a grade II* listed former domestic dwelling dating from before the reign of Henry VIII. While the museum is an important place of reference for local history, geared more towards children than adults, it also houses the excellent Freedom Caffe' tearoom. The restrictions imposed by such an old, historic house may mean they can't use a normal commercial coffee machine but the range of soft drinks is impressive and more importantly, the vegan options for lunch are delicious. I highly recommend both the vegan sausage roll with salad and the vegan Greek. Then there are the cakes... The only vegan option on the day was a chocolate pear and apple cake but it was gorgeous and the staff were attentive and friendly and the food reasonably priced. I also noted the fresh pasta preparation. There's more to Cheam than the museum but whatever else you're doing it's well worth making sure you visit the Freedom Caffe' for a drink and a bite to eat.”

“Hidden gem! Fantastic roast dinners on Sundays and bring your own wine for a modest corkage charge. The owners couldn't have been nicer and the food is incredible. We've already made arrangements to go again with a group of friends. You may have to navigate yourself around several buggies and prams when you're there and seating is limited but it's worth it. This place is a must try and incredible value for money, I can't recommend it highly enough.”

I rave about Green & Glory to friends. The produce is always fantastic quality - the best around.
