Due to recent reviews there are a few horrible reviews from a sour ex partner that is an alcoholic and was caught drink drinking 5 times over the limit. Please ignore them as these are being handled in the appropriate manner. Please come see for yourself, before putting this pub at the bottom of your list. “My mother & father have lived around the corner from The Albany for over 20 years but hadn’t been inside due to less than favourable reputation. WHAT A MISTAKE!! When my father passed away a few weeks ago we decided to book the Albany for my father’s wake & from start to finish they were absolutely fantastic! Their kindness towards my mother was lovely, their professionalism was top notch and the food was outstanding the chef could not do enough for us everything was made fresh to order to suit individual requirements. I would like to thank the Albany on behalf of my father & we will be regular visitors from now on (I can’t wait to taste more of the chef’s delicious food 10/10 xx”
