“Burr & Co London was my first stop after landing in the city, and what a phenomenal choice it was! Nestled in the heart of Bloomsbury, this gem is more than just a coffeehouse; it’s a sanctuary. The atmosphere is perfect for settling down with your laptop, thanks to plenty of plug sockets and speedy Wi-Fi, making it an ideal spot for those important meetings or just catching up on work. The building itself, part of the Kimpton Fitzroy London, a Grade II listed Victorian marvel, adds to the charm of Burr & Co. Whether you’re craving a classic flat white, indulging in a full English breakfast, or in the mood for some delicious fries, the menu caters to every whim. And let’s not forget the cocktails – a must-try during their happy hour! The staff at Burr & Co are incredibly friendly, contributing to a relaxing and easy-going experience. The quality of food and beverages is top-notch, all available at a reasonable price point considering its prime location. It’s a place where music gently fills the background, creating a welcoming environment that’s hard to leave. In summary, Burr & Co is not just a hotel coffeehouse; it’s a delightful retreat in the bustling city of London. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s a spot you won’t want to miss.”
“The kindness of strangers! I have just made a second visit to QMC and cannot speak highly enough of the way this place is run. Lorraine in particular deserves a special mention for helping me out of an embarrassing situation professionally and discreetly! Thank you Lorraine”
“Really friendly staff on check in, and in the bar on 16th of November. Fast check in and all the information we needed. It’s a busy hotel but we slept perfectly. Comfy beds and nice room. They must have good quality sound proof as we never hear the busy road outside. Can’t go wrong from the price’s Travelodge are offering. Good location for the train station and Westfield.”
“A lovely environment to have a tasty and smooth coffee. The carrot cake was also delicious.”
“Here is the English translation: I came from Taiwan and stayed at a 2-person room on the 5th floor for 13 days at the end of November. At first, I saw many mixed reviews, but after staying here, I truly felt the staff were very friendly. The room was clean and tidy, and I had no bad experiences. There was no curtain beside the bed, but there were four outlets in the room, which was more than enough. The food sold on the first floor was affordable and tasty, and it’s also a good choice if you want to have a drink. If you need hot water, you can ask for it at the bar. The self-service breakfast costs £9.5 and is enough to make you full. The bathrooms and toilets were clean too, although some locks were broken, but it didn’t affect usage. The heating starts at 8 p.m. and lasts until the morning; sometimes it starts earlier or ends earlier. I am still staying here now, and I highly recommend this place to travelers who come to London and don’t have very high requirements for accommodation.”
“I visited Moka with my friends yesterday for brunch. The food was delicious and fulfilling, even the service was good and staff was friendly. It was a very nice experience.”
“Lots of vegan options, nice atmosphere, and nice customer service.”
“My experience with them was great, team really friendly, food was well done, coffee quality was amazing. Thank you costa team!”
“Very delicious! Had breakfast from here then in the evening came by to have some samosa chaat and cookie dough. The food is so yummy and the staff is so sweet too. Definitely recommend. 10/10”
“Lovely place, fully gluten free. Delicious cakes and croissants, I went back for more! Very friendly staff. The coffee was excellent too! I say this as a coffee snob!”
“Great coffee, great atmosphere, good place for a chat. Sam, Rosie and Karla have been wonderful over the years. Best Coffee in Sutton!!”
“Had a great cup of cappuccino while having the warmest chat with the owner Ghassan! Felt right at home ! The service was great and the coffee was perfect ! Would definitely visit again for the coffee and for another great chat !”
“Went to the bottomless pasta making class, and my gosh, had the best time, the hosts were so welcoming and friendly, everything was super clean, and the class itself was very informative but fun. Can't believe how easy pasta making is. Anyway it inspired me to make my own ravioli. Thank you so much, I will be highly recomending this class to all my friends and clients.”
“Overall: ★★★★★ Raynes Park’s finest independent coffee shop serving up Curious Roo coffee and some mighty fine fresh pastries. It’s immaculate despite being small yet it’s child and dog friendly and has a warm, welcoming vibrant atmosphere. Get in, grab a table and enjoy your coffee! This is how a coffee shop should be. Food: Coffee shop What I liked: • Really welcoming • Bright yet comfortable atmosphere • Great coffee • Small well thought out food selection • Fair price point What I didn’t like: Do I recommend going? YES Will I go again? YES Was it good value? YES Price Point: $”
“Awesome little independent coffee shop! My girlfriend had the hot chocolate which she claims to this day is the best hot chocolate she's ever had! Also such great merch, I couldn't help myself buying their caps.”
“The Nest climbing is a fantastic facility for your bouldering adventures. The staff and people make it a very friendly and welcoming place for climbers of all ages and skill levels to participate in the sport we love. There are a number of expert led small grouped classes to participate in between your time on the wall helping you build mobility and strength in order to progress in your climbs. I can recommend this place highly enough.”
“Lovely cosy cafe run by Anna & Sylvia who are SO welcoming, friendly, go the extra mile and serve delicious homemade focaccias, pasta, soups & coffee! I love it here, it’s so wholesome and the food/coffees were amazing! I’ve been looking for really well made sandwiches with lots of love & flavour for a while, I found you!”
“Our son had a football match nearby and we popped into this café — what a hidden gem. A few of us grabbed bacon rolls, coffees and pastries for the parents. Super friendly staff, great coffee, and really lovely pastries and sandwiches. We’ll definitely be back.”
“I’ve been a regular at Butter Up Cafe in Tulse Hill for a year and it’s fantastic. The coffee is consistently excellent, and the staff—Jam, Alex, and Patch—are incredibly friendly. The environment is perfect for grabbing a coffee on the go or settling in to get some work done. I only tried their pastries once, but I hear their cinnamon buns is popular here. Open daily, this cafe is a local favourite worth checking out.”
“Food was delicious, staff were polite and accommodating, the cafe had a peaceful ambiance.”
“It was the most lovely and warm cafe during my trip to London from korea. I have a lot of good memories. It was a place where I went to find coffee in the morning, and it was so comfortable and warm where the staff and the people of the neighborhood greeted me warmly. I don't have much time, so I'm sorry I couldn't stop by again. I'll definitely stop by one more time!”
“This was honestly a six-star meal. Between the four of us, we had a chai latte, English breakfast tea, pistachio macaron, brownie, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream - all for less than £15. Since we were eating in, the macaron came with lovely cream and raspberry jam decorations underneath that went great with the macaron as well. The brownie was not bitter at all and the tea was fragrant but the highlight of our meal was the homemade vanilla ice cream, which was creamy, filled with vanilla seeds and honestly the best ice cream I’ve ever had. Overall, this was an amazing experience and even though this place has 4.9 stars on Google Maps, I still think it deserves a higher rating.”
“Best coffee and cake in Molesey (if not Surrey or the UK in fact!) not to mention the friendliest! Coffee is always brilliant and the homebaking always fresh and delicious - worth going out of your way for!”
“Really lovely cafe with a cosy atmosphere , friendly staff — and the best matcha latte I've ever had (coming from a matcha enthusiast)! Although I didn't opt for any, the selection of food was vast and delicious looking, in addition to having vegan and gluten free options. I can't recommend this place enough.”
“A great place to stop off on a walk. Nice Tea, Excellent coffee and a very tasty bacon roll and a delicious massive cookie. Lovely friendly helpful staff and spotlessly clean. We will definitely be visiting again”
“I had a great experience at this café. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Everything we ordered was fresh and full of flavor, but the highlight for me was definitely the avocado and mushroom toast perfectly seasoned, with a generous portion and beautifully presented. You can really tell they care about the quality of their ingredients. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a relaxed spot with great food and service.”
“A special little neighbourhood coffee shop serving both local and Asian (HK & Japanese) food/beverage with promoting healthy eating & lifestyle in mind. Chatting with the owner and found out she is passionate in cooking and also specialising in different types of coaching relating to enhancing one's well being. We had a good chat! I like the environment and the energy of the shop. Highly recommend for someone who is looking for casual meal with high quality and well being advice!”
“I’ve lived in the area all my life and only just visiting for the first time. I can genuinely say I will be back with the misses very often. The atmosphere is chill, a little loud with some kids but that’s to be expected. Service was nice, very respectful and friendly staff. The food was to die for! I was going to opt for a full English as a safe option but risked it with Turkish Eggs. WOW - it was absolutely worth it and very flavourful full. The hash browns are also the best we’ve ever had! Will be back for sure!”
