“We popped in today for lunch and were instantly impressed with the decor and atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and friendly, they brought over a bowl of water my dog without even being asked. I ordered the Steak Sandwich and Chips plus a cheeky Pornstar Martini. The food and drink were lovely! Will definitely be returning!”

“It's got great character and the rooms are very warm, welcoming and cosy. (Trendy Even). Food was great and there is also and outside area with a wood burner. It was one of those places you felt lucky to have dropped on. Reminded me that hotels stars dont always give a true picture of where your staying”

“Ordered last night for delivery through Deliveroo, delivery was fast and no problems. Delivery guy was nice and told me they had upgraded both my pizza from 12” to 15”! “After a lovely dinner, I decided to treat myself to dessert, and I’m so glad I did. I ordered the sticky toffee pudding, and it was simply divine. The sponge was moist and warm, soaked in just the right amount of toffee sauce, and topped with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream. Every bite was indulgent and comforting – the kind of dessert that makes you smile. It was the perfect way to finish the meal. The pub itself has such a warm and inviting vibe, with a mix of locals and visitors, which makes the whole experience even better. I left feeling full, happy, and already planning my next visit”

“Lovely traditional pub with rooms upstairs. Bed comfy, and relatively quiet given the location. Very handy for Thorpe park. Friendly staff at the bar and great ale selection. Will definitely stay again when back in the area”
