“This is my new favourite cafe!! It's got so much better over time. I must Go there atleast once a week or I start missing it!!! Have tried a lot of other cafes but this is the best one so far. Even my friend comes from Barkingside to eat here with me!!! Amazing paninis! And smoothies too! Lovely staff, so friendly and welcoming, all smiles!! “I love this pub alot, great owner/bar staff, great atmosphere, old fashioned with beams n' all, fireplace, nice garden, a pool table and a jukebox. My only complaint is that there isn't a free cash machine in there because its cash only, I have to go to the local tesco just to get some out and have a drink”

“Nice meal out with the family..... We came down for our girlfriends aunts birthday, which was at a different venue, however on our second night we had food here which was fantastic, came out quick and pipping hot! Before leaving we had breakfast which again was cooked to order (which I prefer) all the team that we spoke to was awesome, chatty and smiley! We will definitely be seeing you all again soon when we next come down. Highly recommend, 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Superb little boozer. Met a mate there for a beer, never been there before. I think this is what people that don't go to pubs imagine an old English boozer is like...punters respectful and polite, ok prices, lots of chatting and laughter, everyone welcome. Old fashioned English pub. Remember pubs like this from years ago. Yes dodgy music and staff were busy. Would I go again/recommend? Absolutely... going to take more of us next time. Location is subjective of course but for me, walk 10 mins, train 8 mins, walk 2mins for a hidden gem. Perfect!”
