“I honestly never expected to eat so well in a small restaurant in a little-known street in Croydon. After leaving Gatwick airport, I searched on Google Maps for a Japanese restaurant near me that was open until 10pm, I found this one, I was very lucky. I made a big order because we were very hungry. I tried everything and I was very satisfied, especially the fried food. The place is small but well organized and clean, the service was excellent. Absolutely recommended.”

“Fantastic food here, the peri peri chicken was better than nandos, juicy, moist and flavoursome. Should have gone for the hot though. Beef wrap was to die for, nice beef kofta with a delicious garlic sauce. The Lahmacun was really good as a light main or a starter. Close second star of the show though were the Nachos, cheese layered throughout the nacho chips, fresh guacamole, and stacked with salsa, sour cream and jalapeños. Diet starts next week..”

“We had our wedding on Friday 19th September and we had the most outstanding meal for over 40 people. Our venue was 20 minutes away and the food was piping hot. All our guests said how amazing it was and couldn’t believe the price. We designed our own boxes and they were happy to put the food in them. “Have finally find a great place for English breakfast after looking for a while. I am in my late 70's and my appetite is not what it used to be, sadly. I don't want a large breakfast, just a quality one. Thankfully the Grumpy Goose allows me to choose from the extras so I can choose exactly want I want and not waste food. I particularly like the fact that they offer back bacon and not just streaky or pancetta which seems the norms these days. All perfectly cooked, well presented and delicious.”
