“Walked in late lunch. Ordered bacon and egg soft bap. After debating which bread I wanted roll, sandwich or soft bap. Has got to be one of the best and reasonably priced lunch break for a long time. Staff very friendly and willing to help. And will literally go out of their way to accommodate if possible. Amazing service and food”

“Incredible customer service from the establishment. Despite deliveroo being terrible, I called up the takeaway and they sorted it out right away (without deliveroo involved). I would recommend ordering directly from them. Pizzas were incredible as well and came within 30 mins of sorting out deliveroo's mess. Worth the wait and definitely will be going back again.”

“I usually shop online, but I went to Romida to buy my cricket gear because I wanted to try it on before I purchased it. I got everything I needed, including a bat from the GM Diamond Original range. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, especially Steve, the manager. He's my go-to person for all my cricket shopping.”

“We turned up as a party of 4 with 2 young children without a booking at 5pm. The staff could not have been more accommodating despite being quite busy. We were advised the wait was 30 minutes to order but were offered a table and some christmas drawing activities to keep the children occupied. A nice touch. Food was exceptionally good, with both children polishing off all their plates. Steak and ale pie & highland venison duo are highly recommended for adults! Very warm and welcoming pub. Highly recommend & will certainly be calling in again in the future after a visit to Polesden Lacey.”

“This restaurant is amazing. The staff are ALL superb. Their skill is clear and their empathy and kindness is exceptional. We went here for my Mum's 93rd Birthday they could not have gone out of their way more to make the occasion special. The food is totally excellent and worth every penny. Jemima our waitress was brilliant. The hostess Annabel was the best we have ever seen. She was totally " on " everything that was happening in the whole restaurant. Josh the manager was empathetic and impressive. The venue is unbeatable. Choose this restaurant for the special things and the every day events and they will make everything special.”

“A recommended choice if you look for good food, often with a twist to keep it interesting. Highlight for us were the muscles, fish, pumpkin stuffed pasta, the very low alcohol beer and deserts. But I would trust the chef with anything. Everything was cooked on point. The staff was lovely and happy to ensure we were comfortable and looked after. We spend a bit more on drinks however the meal prices were entirely worth the price and reasonable. A real food highlight for the area and definitely the choice for bringing guests. Thank you for a lovely evening”

“I don’t normally write reviews but couldn’t understand the negative ones posted. We ate here last night and couldn’t fault the food or staff. It is a throw back to the 80’s but that’s what I loved about it. The food was delicious and very good value for money with a complimentary glass of house wine. I will definitely be going again.”

“One of the best pork belly dishes I've ever had! This was my first visit, and I was very impressed with the service, food quality, staff attentiveness, and overall atmosphere. We went there for Sunday roast, and I can honestly say that I will drive again two hours just to enjoy their food again. The food and drinks prices were also reasonable. I loved how welcoming the place is and the terrace outside. Thank you and I'm sure I will return.”

“Stopped off on the way back from Polesden Lacey to London. Ate two roast chicken baps with 2 pint sized soft drinks. Absolute bargain lunch at 19 quid for the lot - especially as portion size was ginormous and the chicken was excellent quality! Landlady was on her own and super busy but incredibly friendly and welcoming. Service was excellent.”

“We are camping this weekend and wanted somewhere to watch the Coronation. The chain pub across the road didn’t appeal so we asked in here. The lady behind the bar was really welcoming and told us they’d be screening the event from 11.00 on Saturday. We returned today and were pleasantly surprised to find Indian food on the menu. We sat in a comfortable area close enough to watch and hear the TV, and enjoyed a lovely meal. The staff were very friendly and the owner came to check that everything was ok. We will definitely return on our next visit to Leatherhead”

“Wonderful ladies offering a good range of clothing and accessories. I often get complimented on my outfits, I even have many strangers stop me and tell me how fabulous my pink coat is!! It's great to add items to your wardrobe that isn't from the high street.”

What also makes this place special is the warm customer service you get which really just makes this above 5 star. If I’m not popping in to shop I’m popping in to say hello to the lovely ladies! “I have a number of sweatshirts and t shirts from hear. I Love the cowl Neck hoodie, I have the grey rainbow one. It’s gorgeous and has been worn over and over again and it washes very well. I live locally to where they work, they are right opposite where I learnt to ride as a youngster .”
