“We’ve been in the winter, where the best place to sit is inside by the fire; Spring, where the conservatory is nice, and now outside in the summer. My kids love the mac n cheese- and it’s proper home made food with real ingredients. I had a delicious salad with roasted beetroot and fennel, adding on halloumi cheese. Always so much fun to watch the flying lessons with my girls.”

“Wow! Amazing sandwich. Chicken, avocado and sun dried tomato on sourdough. Delicious and enormous. Only £5. My only concern was I think the price was too low in this crazy world we live in. It was worth £6.50. thank you so much. I will be back!!! No photos to add as took away and it is very happily nestling in my belly!!!”

I overheard two customers without cash so I'm sure the lady could earn a lot more cash by accepting card via a app. The signage is old and taped on so just needs a few things and I'm sure all the trendy types will flock here. “Coffee Break feels like it hasn't moved forward from 2005, but in the best way possible. The decor is full of black and white photos of old movie stars (Charlie Chaplin, Marylin Monroe, James Dean, etc) and the corner television was running 90's music videos the entire time I had my breakfast. And the breakfast- It was beautiful. I ordered a Small English Breakfast and the portions were exactly what I needed. Don't worry, they also had a Full English. But the Small was a single egg, sausage, 2 bacon, a perfectly fried hashbrown, beans, and toast. For someone like me who loves English Breakfast but would like to move at some point later in the same day this was a great set. The service here was wonderful as well. My own plate came out perfectly but when a table nearby had a cheeseburger come out with less cheese than expected the reply from the waitress was simply, "of course, no worries, more cheese" and more cheese was added (as well as the requisite sauces). The Mediterranean and special fares are also worth trying out. The special is a Lentil Soup as I write and it smells wonderful. Overall a perfect spot just off the main road in Wood Green, and perfect for breakfast and lunch in a much quieter spot than trying more popular cafes down the high street.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed my lunch here, fresh well cooked food and a great charity. The Shakshuka was perfectly flavoured with an excellent range of spices and depth of Middle-Eastern flavours. Mushroom soup was delicious and the sourdough bread was soft with a crunchy outside. The Salhev (coconut creamy drink with pistachios) is one of my personality favourites - and highly recommend. The entire restaurant has great service, lovely decoration and atmosphere, and with excellent food!”

While the price of £4.50 per slice is higher than other local cake shops, it's definitely worth it. A suggestion for improvement would be to have a clear price display for all items, ensuring customers are fully informed before purchasing.”

“Great place to get your nails done. The staff are really friendly and professional and mad my short nails look fantastic. I had the Hunky Dory Shellac gel manicure done and I'm very pleased with the result. There's lots of colours to choose from. You can have a drink as you have your nails done and the lattes are really nice. This is the second time I've been here and plan to come back in the future. I'd recommend this place to my friends.”
