βOur girls love going to ballet class! Gill is an amazingly inspirational teacher! She is completely devoted to the progress of her pupils and leads by example with her indomitable spirit even through these troubled times. We are immensely grateful for her unwavering efforts while still creating an atmosphere of disciplined fun and sophistication for her aspiring ballerinas. Highly recommended.β
βThe Kensington Little Dance Academy has been our home away from home. We couldnβt be more grateful for Ms. Georginaβs ballet class and the incredible impact it has had on my children. Both my daughter (3) and son (2) absolutely adore their time in class, and itβs been amazing to see how much theyβve grown under Ms. Georginaβs guidance. The support and encouragement from both Ms. Georgina and Ms. Beth has been unwavering. I cannot recommend these classes enough!β
Come One Dance Academy, also known as the Gypsy Booth School, is a long-standing performing arts institution located in Croxley Green, Rickmansworth. With over 50 years of history, the academy offers a diverse range of classes for children and young adults. Students can choose from various dance styles, including ballet, tap, and modern dance. The curriculum also extends to drama and singing, providing a well-rounded education in the performing arts. Performance opportunities are a key feature, with annual shows and international trips to venues like Disneyland Paris.
βI am so happy I finally decided to join ballet classes as an adult, and conveniently this is very close to my home. I just wish I'd found out about it sooner! Very challenging but super fun way to exercise both your body and your mind.β
βMy daughter has been doing ballet at Rise for several years and started doing Contemporary with them a couple of years ago. She loves both classes! The teachers are friendly and she has come a long way. She really looks forward to her lessons every week.β
βAnna is a lovely tutor and I really enjoyed her lessons. I was new to Ballroom & Latin, but she and the class were very welcoming. We mainly focused on technique and would normally do 2 different dances a month. It would be easiest to bring a partner, but I didn't have one and it was no problem. Thoroughly recommend.β
βMy 2 boys have attended team kaizen dance academy for 2 years and absolutely love it. Kieron and his team bring out the best in all the kids. Highly recommend team kaizen.β
βMy daughter attended Alyssia's school for a year and a half. At first we took ballet class and then we added tap and drama classes. Teachers at Alyssia's school are very friendly and my daughter really enjoys dancing here and is happy during the 2 hours each week. The location of the school is also great, I can drop my daughter off and then go for a stroll down Marylebone high street for a cup of coffee, it's a relaxing experience.β
βMy children love dancing, my girl especially and this is the perfect opportunity for them to release their inner creativity. Dancebites enable them to shine brighter and demonstrate their wonderful personalities to the world. I can't recommend them enough, Dancebites is a fantastic and caring team who treat each child as such individuals encouraging the very best out of them all.β
βA nurturing environment and positive attitude. Dancers are trained, venue is easy to find and lots of days/times to suit.β
βWe have been attending ballet classes with Miss Caroline and her incredible team for a few years now. Both of my daughterβs thoroughly enjoy their classes and have learnt so much more than ballet. Would highly recommend!β
βI have three daughters at this dance school ranging from 7 to 14 years old and all I can say is that Tudor Rose has been a home away from home for them. They have made strong friendships and grown to love dance in all its forms. Debbie has been a pillar of strength for each one of them when they were doubting themselves and has shown them that they can be the best of themselves. I highly recommend it to all parents.β
βMy daughter has been dancing with Adagio School of Dance for 7 years and loves it!! She is 12 years old and spends most days at the dance school, doing ballet, tap, modern, contemporary and hip hop. The new dance facilities are fantastic, with several studios and also a homework room (!),and the school offers many genres of dance for both children and adults. The teachers have an exemplary background in dance and are enthusiastic, encouraging and supportive of their pupils. There is a real sense of family spirit, and the children of all ages get on well together. There is a bi-annual show in which the children are encouraged to perform and take part. This is always a spectacular and "not-to-be-missed" event and I am certainly looking forward to the next one in May this year!β
βGreat one to one lesson in very well organised and covid safe eviornment!β
βI love Shani's classes, she is very passionate about ballet and so comes to each class with energy. She kindly correct, helping me improve my technic and creates a warm environment that encourages people to try. Would highly recommend!β
βMy daughter began dancing with Angelina from a young age , took a break and has recently returned to ballet. The fact that she would only consider going back to Dancing at this dance school Is a testament to their teaching , professionalism and pastoral care. The teachers are all so patient and kind.β
βMy daughter loves this dance school. Great teachers - lots of fun but also great training, supportive atmosphere. She enjoys street, contemporary and acro classes. Fab show which takes huge amounts of effort to achieve.β
βMy daughter is in her second year of ballet classes at the school Tiptoes & Tappers. She saw her favourite character from the film dancing and decided that she wanted to do ballet too. During this time she has become more confident on stage. She is never shy about dancing at children's birthday parties. It's fun. What she likes most is the attentive teachers and the staff. She socialises with many of the girls outside of class. As a mum I love that my daughter continues to rush to class every Saturday despite it being a weekend and morning. That her curiosity is not killed in her by the rigid demands that are inherent in ballet. But in doing so, she feels her body and dances better and better. I highly recommend the school if you want your child to develop harmoniously in dance, while she/he will have the experience of the big stage, which is so important for an artist and the support of professionals and friendly team.β
βMy daughter loves Dance Shack's dance classes. Kind and enthusiastic teachers. A great place!β
βI can't recommend this fabulous dance school enough, my daughter has been dancing here for 13 years , it's simply the best . The opportunity's that these children have are amazing. Performing on cruise ships , Disney, Haven and in the west end . The teachers bring the best out of each child . Adult classes are also available which i also attend . Communication is always good , we are kept informed at every step with emails and can always talk to staff if needed. Lucy Lovick and her team are brilliant β€οΈ 5 stars from me and Katie xβ

βMy daughter has been attending the holiday camps at the Rosy Thompson Academy of Dance for a few years now. The camps are energetic, engaging and offer a great balance between having fun, confidence building and the opportunity to make new friends of a similar age. My daughter certainly enjoys the camps! Watching her perform in the end of week mini show is a great opportunity to witness first hand the progress she has made..... and the smile on her face!β
βWhen I first joined Give Into Dance I was immediately blown away by the friendly atmosphere and the fun classes. I made friends almost instantly and to this day, over ten years later, the people I met at GID are still some of my closest friends. Briony is an incredible teacher, she makes everyone feel welcome, and no matter what level you are at, Briony, along with everyone in the class makes you feel completely at ease. The amazing variety of dance styles, choreography and routines keep you on your toes whilst giving you an amazing workout. Performing in the annual shows gives you something to work towards, and a huge sense of achievement afterwards, all whilst making amazing memories with a wonderful group of people. Unlike many other dance classes out there, GID doesn't have an elitist vibe or make you feel like an outsider if you're new or a beginner, you instantly feel welcomed and relaxed and the classes are a fun and happy place, the perfect escape from the stresses of everyday life!β
βThe theatre is located in the Victoria Centre, a very large department store complex with many shops. The theatre has two bars (also serving coffee) and clean toilets. There are no bad seats; you have a good view of the stage from everywhere. We saw the Kinks musical βSunny Afternoonβ. It was excellent.β
βA great venue for professional and new dancers! We love to come to the family events they host on half terms or holidays. Our most recent visit was to see the Speedwell Dance production of The Mountain Witch.. a fun story told through story, sound and movement. And the best part was that the little ones were encouraged to join in the story. We also loved the snacks and drinks in the venue cafΓ©..yumm.β
βAs a complete beginner, I was a bit nervous to start dancing, but Base Dance Studios was fantastic. The atmosphere was so welcoming and the instructor was brilliant at making everyone feel comfortable, regardless of their skill level. There were plenty of other guys in the class, which was great, and everyone was there to have fun and learn. Definitely recommend to any beginner!β
βAbsolutely LOVE the Feelgood Factor classes on Thursday evenings :-) Catherine Lomax is a fantastic teacher, thank you xβ
βLauren is lovely and makes the classes really fun, so the kids love going. I think any age group and ability would enjoy her lessons. I fancy a go at 35!β
βJo is quite possibly the kindest teacher Iβve met. My daughter has danced with her for 8 years and loves every class. Jo gives so much of herself to the pupils and the school, itβs a pleasure to be part of itβ
