“I recently tried this biryani in tapori which is located in Cobham and was genuinely impressed. The moment I opened the container, the aroma of freshly ground spices hit me—warm, rich, and absolutely irresistible. The rice was perfectly cooked, each grain separate and infused with flavour, and the meat was tender and well-seasoned. Portion sizes were generous, definitely worth the price. The biryani came with raita and salan, both fresh and complementary without overpowering the main dish. What stood out most was the balance of spices—flavourful without being overwhelmingly hot. Service was quick and friendly, and the food was neatly packed with no mess or leakage, which I really appreciate for takeaways. Overall, an excellent biryani experience. If you’re craving authentic, aromatic, and satisfying biryani, this place is absolutely worth trying. Highly recommended!”

“Been buying beans for espresso here regularly for some months now and feel very grateful to have this roaster just a short drive from my home! Fantastic care for the quality of their beans and roasting process. They're always friendly when I go in and are more than happy to make up a custom (always recently roasted) batch of whatever blend it is I'm looking for if they don't already have it on their shelves. Nice little selection of coffee gear in stock there too which is a nice bonus.”

“Flew in for lunch in my friend’s helicopter for lunch with my daughters. Beautiful pub inside and out, but we sat outside in a lovely shady table. Great menu with a wide and original variety of tempting dishes, I started with lobster Thermidor crumpet which was delicious with a very generous amount of lobster. Had chicken Kiev for main, which was also very tasty, although perhaps a bit lacking in oozing garlic butter. Service was perfect from the lovely Holly! Overall, a sublime pub to visit, whether by land or air.”

“Beautiful country pub just outside of Cobham town centre. Small car park available which did get full quickly but there did appear to be some more parking available off the main road. Service was fantastic from Jarred. Lovely interior, food was sublime and the oysters were some of the best we’d had in a long while. Thank you to all of the staff for a great lunch. We certainly hope to be back again soon.”

“Gorgeous pub, nice service. I had the surf and turf and have to say both steak and lobster were delicious. Cooked to perfection. The chips were lovely too. Others had sausages and mash, smoked salmon sandwich and the ribs. There were empty plates and reduced chatter as we all enjoyed our food. It’s a ye olde world pub which has bundles of character. There’s parking there too which is handy.”

“Five star service and a five star place! The staff is very friendly, welcoming and we were looked after throughout our lunch. The place itself is really nice, cosy and it felt like home. We loved the food as well! We had the sausage, the pie and the cod and all was nicely flavoured and so tasty. It’s a dog friendly place and even our dog was looked after, which we will appreciate. It was worth our car trip!”

“My local go to shop for Aga items and paint. Beautiful range of paint colours, not cheap but they do good discounts during sale. After failing to find matching stone tiles for my bathroom elsewhere, as a last resort decided to check out FE, I left with an unexpected order of mosaic stone tiles on a 20% discount and limestone grout as well! Thanks to Louisa who not only explained to me the nature of stone tiles and differences between them but also tried different options for my stone tile slab which I brought to her. The complimentary mosaic tiles as my feature wall in my shower compliments the different colours in my existing bathroom tiles and solves the problem of having to worry about the large colour variation in natural stone slabs which may leave me with an entirely different coloured wall. Happy customer.”
