“This place surely isn't the biggest or most privately contained cafe in a hospital, but that really is the beauty of it. Run by volunteers, these people were wonderful to talk to, and not only to see them with the choice to dedicate this time, but simply considering how long some have lived for (e.g. age 92), and how good their health is. Onto the actual cafe! The price of food here from sandwiches to cafe drinks is the type of reasonable I am expecting and am so happy to see, when comparing to such, including the Costa in the hospital. In my opinion that includes the range of cakes, biscuits and bars too! Having my [veg] sandwhich toasted made it extra fulfilling, and the cappuccino was super! And it gets better: All profits made, go to a certain division of the hospital. More people should visit this cafe to appreciate the efforts devoted by volunteers here. Hospitals should have more affordable, lovingly run cafe's like this! Obviously that doesn't even have to be as a patient!”

“Best chai shop in Southall by a country mile. We visited this gem of a chai shop on Southall Broadway on a week night. The food and tandoori chai just blew us away. We had the aloo tiki chart, the.lovely loaded chips, french toast, and halwa Puri Chana. Every item just exceeded our expectation, beautifully presented and deliciously tasty. The tandoori chai is the best desi tea we have had in the UK. There is a short wait for the food to arrive but it's worth it. We.will definitely be visiting again.”

“Had a lovely breakfast at Tesco and a really pleasant experience overall. The food was fresh, tasty, and well presented, making it a great start to the day. The café area was clean, calm, and well organised. What really stood out was the customer service — friendly, attentive, and professional. A special mention to Michelle and Iwone, who were both welcoming, helpful, and made the visit feel genuinely enjoyable. Great value for money and a nice atmosphere. “As an Italian, I only trust Somalis with coffee outside of my community. Their espresso is perfect, creamy at the right point and as a loyal customer they serve it in a regular cup not a take away cup to drink outside but Iam looking forward that they reopen inside so I can sit and have a chat with the owner. They also sell small Somali snacks, the sambusa is the best of the area and also sell Italian products at very reasonable prices.The whole Somali community makes me feel welcome when I go in their part of Southall ❤”

“I popped in for a coffee as I was delivering just around the corner. The place is small but really nice and it created a really nice atmosphere. I ordered the coffee and a cheese and tuna panini with chillies. Nothing was too much trouble, the communication was great, I had to wait around 5 minutes but I sat and enjoyed my coffee . It was delicious, and when I gave the owner feedback she mentioned that she only uses the best coffee and her passion for the business was brilliant. I would highly recommend , delicious food, brilliant panini, friendly staff and a great coffee shop with a great atmosphere”
