“This is a community theatre that often has really good plays that others don't. The casts are excellent but sometimes the 'set' steals the spotlight, they are really good. If you want a night out and still get a cup of tea and a biscuit, or a pint of beer, plus entertainment it all at the Abbey Theatre.”

The space itself is bright and spacious. Would definitely recommend it as a co-working space - has way more character than your usual place!”

“Went to see Ten in the Bed today and was completely blown away. My 4 year old and not even 2 year old were captivated the whole way through. It was funny and poignant and the acting was brilliantly expressive and physical to help kids follow the dialogue. I want all my friends to take their kids to see it but it’s only on this week! “This is a wonderful project and shop. Affordable, high quality toys and books. Some of my sons favourite books came from here! Excited to pay it forward and bring whatever toys and books are in good condition when he outgrows them. Well worth a stop! The assistants were also very kind once when I was in with my baby and it started pouring rain. My son started crying from hunger and they let me sit down and feed him until the rain was light enough to leave. Just a kind thing that helped me out that day :)”

“We absolutely loved our wedding at Burgh House. It is a beautiful venue with an excellent layout for both the ceremony and reception, right in the heart of Hampstead. Francis, Sophie and the rest of the team were incredibly thorough and attentive, identifying details we had not initially considered. Communication was excellent throughout, and it was always easy to get in touch to discuss any last minute questions. We particularly appreciated the final meeting close to the day, which helped us feel completely prepared. Everything ran smoothly and we could not have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend Burgh House to anyone looking for an elegant and well-managed London wedding venue.”

“Gorgeous little art house theatre in the elephant and castle. Literally just a few mins walk from the train/tube. Lovely friendly staff, really cheap drinks and fantastic programme of shows. Ive just seen cockfosters and it is absolutely hilarious!! You must see this show as its a limited run! It's jaw achingly funny.. if you are a londoner and travel by tube, you will be in complete hysterics! Amazing cast, very clever script and witty songs that pack a mighty punch! I was sat in A8 which is quite literally on the stage! Really comfy seats and great view from wherever you are seated as its only tiny inside.A thoroughly fantastic evening at this cool little local theatre! Come check it out asap before it finishes its run in london”

“Cosy place. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. I visited this place several times during week days and weekends around 11-12pm and tables are available indoors and outdoor. I enjoyed a lot of coffee taste ( I really like coffee “the magic” with oat milk) and oat & raisin cookies.”
