“My wife and I have always loved Korean food. Been to many places around the UK, have friends from Korea, and have been to Seoul as well. This is a great place. It has that Korean homemade feel to their food. Not going to lie, it’s not flashy food, it’s not trying to be in your face, it’s not instagrammable. It isn’t overly spiced. It’s not trying to adhere to the local palette. Instead, it feels genuine, fresh, and from the heart-like a lovely homemade meal. To us that defines what a 5 star review should be. Thank you for such a delicious meal!”

“In a town where culture, the arts and music has been allowed to dwindle for the best part of 15 years, the Pump House is an absolutely vital part of the local arts and music scene. It provides an essential space for music and theatre in a way no other venue now does in Watford. From amateur theatre and kids theatre groups, to live music of all sorts, Watford would be artistically poorer without the Pump House. It should be supported and protected at all costs.”

“Absolutely Outstanding! Soor Lebanese Restaurant exceeded all expectations — from the warm hospitality to the incredible flavours. Every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with authentic Lebanese taste. The hummus was creamy perfection, the grilled meats were tender and juicy, and the freshly baked bread tied it all together perfectly. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. The ambience was elegant yet relaxed, perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. Highly recommend to anyone looking for genuine Lebanese cuisine done right — can’t wait to come back!”

“The team is approchable .They explained and cleared all the doubts related to the hall. Suggestion: The centre could focus on waste management as we had to take all the waste after the function.”

“Got a cappuccino for take away on a absolutely freezing old morning and it was really warming and tasty. Kept my hands warm too. Service was fast as they weren’t very busy as it was very early morning. Staff were smiling and friendly, nice and talkative as well which makes you feel a bit more comfortable Cappuccino tasted very nice and smooth. The standard Costa coffee taste that I’ve come to know and love. Will be returning again.”

“We hired this hall for the Mendhi as part of my daughter's pre-wedding celebration. The hall accommodated all the people invited and can cater for 170-180 people. The charges are extremely reasonable and communication with the team at the centre is exceptional. In particular Johanna and Paul were very accommodating. I cannot thank them enough.”

“We needed a coffee break from our shopping trip to Watford and noticed a Costa. I must say that My family and I received the most wonderful customer service by Mo Nusly and Roxana. They were both very hardworking and delivered our drinks and food with a smile. We had a few requests and they attended to our every need. They made the coffees to perfection. They have made my day and hope to visit again soon.”

““Inspiring our children and community to be the very best that they can be!” As a Trustee I feel really privileged and proud to be involved in this journey. “Inclusive” is not only our name but core to everything we do to help our community fulfil the hopes and dreams of our children. Every day our 3 Watford primary schools – Beechfield, Cherry Tree and Laurance Haines work closely together to create great opportunities which inspire our pupils to learn and develop skills to adapt and succeed in our ever changing world. Each school is very much a part of the local community with its own distinct characteristics and curriculum –we don’t believe that one size fits all but a nurturing philosophy underlines everything we do. As part of a group of schools we provide opportunities for our children to participate and share in exciting projects across the schools – whether sporting, outdoors or creative - for example our art display in Watford Museum or the more recent song written and performed to celebrate and thank Covid-19 key workers. Supporting our people to succeed is a core belief and strength – we are lucky to include former pupils among our teaching staff! Working together enables the sharing and development of best practice whilst addressing workload too. Good career progression is available across the Trust schools. “if you want to go fast, go alone. “I went here years ago as a kid and honestly? I'm super glad I went here. My secondary school experience was horrible and I barely learnt anything, but thanks to this school I had a base knowledge and understanding on how to deal with certain things. The students in my class were lovely too (from my memory) and the teachers were really good at their job. I know if I went to another primary school my experiences that I had would have been drastically different so I'm seriously grateful that the staff that worked here did such a great job. From my memory they also had a good choice of after-school clubs and my sister (who also went here) was in one of them. I'm doing a Level 3 Diploma now in college and I feel like I owe this school a thank you and I don't know how else to do that other than write a review. So thank you! I'd imagine the school has changed a lot since I've been here (since it was around 6-5ish years ago) but I'd also assume that it's still the same in a weird way. I recommend sending your children here, I really do.”

“The food here is absolutely amazing and authentic to the true flavors of Northern India ❤️. Cannot go wrong with the staples: hot masala chai, papadums, garlic naan, bombay mix, butter chicken and lamb Biriyani. Food took a little long to arrive to table, but it was well worth the wait! Our server is named Freya and was very friendly! Highly recommend if in the Watford area.”
