I tried the steak plate this time, and it was tender, flavorful, and cooked exactly how I asked. The rice and veggies were seasoned perfectly — not bland like most places. What stood out the most was the service. The staff treated me like a regular even though it was only my second visit. They’re attentive without hovering, and they seem to genuinely care that customers enjoy their meals. Prices are reasonable, portions are satisfying, and the quality is consistently good. I wish more places had this level of customer care and attention to detail. If you’re thinking about trying Tropics Grill — do it. You won’t regret it.”

Last time I collected here they told me that this branch was closing and I would have to get me next batch of medicine from the one in Chimes which is always super busy! “They actually messed up my take away order by forgetting one item but they were quick to deliver it and apologised profusely. The standard here is higher than the average take away, for example the house special ‘hor fun’ rice noodles are fresh (and not of the dry variety) and the mixture of meats are decent - king prawns, beef, chicken, char siu.
