“I was served by a young lad who went by the name Izzy. He was extremely helpful and courteous and took his time to assist me in finding screws to fit into a fixture. We went through several different screws and eventually found the perfect ones. However I then stated I didn’t want any fancy branded ones of which he then proceeded to scroll through his system to get me the cheapest best value ones! Finally we opened the box and tested to see if it would fit of which it was perfect. Before paying he then asked me if I wanted a new unopened box of which I said no, it was totally fine. But still, him asking me if I wanted a new box instead was where I was really impressed. Amazing customer service! Will highly recommend going to these guys”

“Excellent customer service from attentive staff. Restaurant is very nicely presented. Food was good, starter and dessert arrived promptly but mains arrived a little cold but still nice. Portions are very good. The vegan pepperoni pizza was very tasty. Highlight was the sticky toffee pudding. We visited using a Buyagift voucher and used to visit South Woodford branch but unfortunately this has closed down. This branch is definitely worth another visit.”

“Staff were so polite and very helpful during my stay but most noticeable was how clean everything was from the rooms, bathrooms and the lounge area. The location was safe, parking available first come first serve around 7 spaces at the front I’m not sure if there was parking at the rear. There are a few nice takeaway/restaurants at the bottom of the road. Well done to these guys”

“What a lovely experience. Pub was a little quiet but early Monday so probably expected. Staff friendly and good choice of beers. Am going to go back later in the week as they do Thai food which looks great so will review. Definitely a good again place for me!”

Right from the onset Hayley understood our requirements as a big family and she also understood how we needed to have a structured process as our son is autistic. “Really Impressed with this hotel. Room was really spacious, lots of plug sockets dotted around, plenty of room to store clothes and a large desk if you needed to work. WiFi also great. Spacious bathroom with shower and bath with toiletries. Pressure in the shower not great in the evening but fine in the morning. Good working telly which appeared to be brand new. Room was also really quiet - didn’t hear any other guests or noise. I had parking for free as I booked directly with the hotel. I believe if you book through a third party it is £10 a day. Excellent location surrounded by lots of pubs, shops and local cafes. I didn’t eat here so can’t comment on the food. I did have a drink at the bar which was expensive as expected in a hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Can’t really fault it - and it was cheaper than the travelodge down the road!”
