“This guy is an absolute legend! My family and I ordered from his place back when he had a shop in Uxbridge, when we lived there. I was absolutely elated to find he's now here in Croxley, where we are too. The best kebabs we've ever had!”

“Toni's a true authentic greek experience Ordered from here a couple of times via deliveroo and just eat. Always get the boxed portions and the club sandwich, and the food is incredible. Taste amazing and the portion size is huge. Exceptional quality and I highly recommend ordering/ visiting if possible. 5 stars out of 5 :)”

“Stopped here on the way back to our hotel and chose the pasta dishes. The portion sizes were huge and very well priced. The staff were very friendly and chatty. We even got given a free garlic bread to have with our pasta. Great service!”

“I know Chipotle really well bc I used to go 3 times a week at certain points and have been eating there (in the states) since 2003. Despite going to this location only once, I had a great experience probably the best I’ve had in the UK. Chicken was nicely charred and had really good smoky flavour. Salsas, brown rice and guacamole were so delicious. I will definitely try to go back.”

“I always have a relaxing time at Villiers. This is a cozy and laidback café, with a lot of different treats on offer that cater to a variety of diets. There are vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. I was very appreciative that I could choose between a few flourless snacks. I’ve had the flapjack, the cheesecake, and the salted caramel brownie, all of which I enjoyed. Shoutout to the barista Anna, who always ensures that the gluten free goodies I get are handled safely so I can enjoy them without getting a reaction! The coffee is very good, and I can't complain when there's nice latte art. I don’t love that the latte is served in a glass instead of a mug, but that's more of a preference than a comment on the quality. It tastes great regardless! In short: very nice and recommend!”

“I had a wonderful brunch experience at The Garden Rooms. Christina, our server, was friendly and efficient, making our visit even more enjoyable. The smashed avocado on sourdough and huevos rancheros were both incredibly tasty and satisfying. The atmosphere was pleasant, with great background music and lovely green decor that added to the ambiance. I highly recommend this place for a delightful brunch outing.”

“Hanako Brings Japan to Watford When I was looking for authentic Japanese food nearby, a few restaurants came up. But Hanako immediately caught my attention. Just from the Google review photos of their sushi and sashimi, I could see the craftsmanship. The presentation looked simple and neat, not overly decorated, but refined in a way that reminded me of true Japanese style. My Japanese friend and I were so excited that we arrived before the restaurant opened. The owner kindly let us in early, which was already such a warm welcome. Inside, the atmosphere was cozy and felt just like a small restaurant in Japan. The menu was easy to understand with clear English, and allergy information was clearly shown. On top of that, the owner kindly explained some of the dishes to us as well. I ordered the nabe udon and a sashimi sushi set. My friend had the shoyu ramen. The portion sizes were quite big for us, but because everything tasted so good, we finished it all. The flavors were very authentic but also easy to enjoy for people who may not be familiar with Japanese food. If I had to describe it in Japanese, I would say it has a 優しい味, meaning a gentle and comforting taste. We had a lovely chat with the owner. She told us that the tuna sashimi is 本マグロ, which is bluefin tuna imported from Japan. That truly impressed us, and you could taste the quality. Everything felt so fresh and nourishing. What surprised me even more is that Hanako has been open for 23 years. That’s nearly the same age as me. It made me think about how Japanese food wasn’t very common in the UK back then. I can only imagine how much this restaurant has gone through over the years to continue sharing this kind of food with the community. I wrote this review to share my appreciation for the food and people at Hanako. If you’re reading the menu outside and not sure whether to go in, I really recommend you try it. This place is a hidden gem.”

“We had a fantastic dining experience at Prime Rickmansworth in Chandlers Cross. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The triple-cooked chips were absolutely delicious and complemented the meal perfectly. The service was attentive and professional, and the atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed. “This place was 10/10, I did not order in store but I ordered from Deliveroo and I had to come and leave another review. This is the tastiest Caribbean food that I’ve had in Watford and I’ve lived here for 20 years. In fact, it’s probably the best I’ve had anywhere in years. The flavours were amazing, you can tell the jerk chicken came straight off the jerk pan, it was so flavourful, the rice and peas was rich in coconut, the macaroni could’ve had a bit more flavour, but when you eat everything together, you can’t even notice. The portion size was massive, it could easily feed two people. I also got a Jamaican dumpling on the side and it was so, so good, it was soft, sweet, and pillowy. I will recommend this place to everyone if you want a good Caribbean dish.”

“Had a paneer tikka Kathi roll, fries and a can of Limca for £8.90. Food was served within minutes, piping hot. Fries were really crispy and the portion was a good size for one. The paneer tikka roll was filling and tasted very delicious. Not too spicy. The kathi roll was a flaky paratha that crumbed a bit but tasted really buttery and crispy. Staff were friendly and helpful. We dined in and the lady at the counter brought our food to us. They clear and clean all tables as customers leave. They have veg and non veg options. Would eat here again.”

The Prawn Tempura was perfectly crispy and light, making it a delightful appetizer. For the main course, we enjoyed the Chicken Garlic and Peppers with Rice, which was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of garlic and spice. Overall, every dish was delicious, and we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic and tasty Thai cuisine!”

“Great Cafe. When I'm in the area I always pop into this cafe for food! The food is SO tasty! And they have yet to get any order or request wrong! Which I'm really surprised about as my partner can make finicky requests. The people there are so friendly and helpful. Service is fast and portions are large. Great place to go eat! Enjoy!”

“Definitely our favourite pizza for miles around and the service is amazing too. We ordered through Just Eat but the app was behaving strangely so we phoned the restaurant. They confirmed our order was ready but no delivery driver had shown up after waiting a few minutes longer we ended up going to collect the order ourselves and they gave us some free brownies by way of apology!”

“Pizzas and kebabs are delicious, this is now my go to place. The owners are lovely. Recently ordered some pizzas for my son’s birthday party over in Croxley and they delivered on time and they were still lovely and hot. Everyone enjoyed. I’m so glad this my local. Thank you ☺️”
