Delicious in Woking

“Yesterday my friend visited me and brought gajjar halwa for me from the Eat Out. I was very impressed after eating that dish as it was so delicious and it was reflecting the real taste of my home country Pakistan. I was so touched after eating that dish and I wish to go and visit that restaurant by myself one day.”

We were privileged to be looked after by Safal, Kiera, and Cnizard, who provided exceptional F&B service. “This Hotel/Pub was the perfect location for us. We were visiting a family member recovering from major surgery but also wanted to explore the area. We were not disappointed as Woking (cinema & Theatre) and the ‘Saturn Way’ were on our doorstep. As regards the hotel we were greeted by Lee who set a wonderful first impression. Nothing was too much trouble for him and the rest of the staff. The room had recently been refurbished to a high standard and was immaculately clean and comfortable. The pub itself had a wonderful relaxing atmosphere and the food was very tasty. Big thank you to Lee, Nessie and the rest of the staff for making our stay memorable. Free parking a big bonus.”

“What an amazing premier inn! The best we have ever stayed in! Tara on reception was amazing, she went above and beyond to make sure our visit was tiptop! We had an amazing room, great food and great customer service from all the reception team but genuinely Tara was brilliant. “A review for the opticians. Have been using for the last 8 years or so and went recently for eye test and was picked up an issue with my eye. Was very thorough and managed to get a appointment at St Peters eye section the following day. The attention given by her (didnt get her name) at the eye test was fantastic amd thorough. A credit to Asda.”

“Been coming to Luciano's quite few times now and each time had a great time. Its my go to place to meet up with friends to chat and have a drink. The atmosphere here is great, I love the decor, the red and pink colours and gives out a romantic vibe especially in the evening when candles are lit up. The staff and manager are welcoming and friendly, especially Samuel. He is very professional and kind. He was serving our table and other costumers as well as making drinks behind the bar. He recommended me several cocktails from the menu and each one was really tasty, Passion fruit marti is my favourite. The food here is great too. Would definitely be coming back here again and will be recommending this place to my friends.”

“I'm Sid's brother in law and his coffee shop is brilliant, especially the Brazilian snacks! My favourite is the Coxinha and Pão de queijo (Cheese bread), the atmosphere is great and there are delicious milkshakes, including the Açai milkshake which is my personal favourite. Definitely recommend coming here as your time will not be wasted. The staff is also incredibly friendly! Thanks for reading”

“The best coffee shop I've ever been to! don't bother with Starbucks or Costa go to Taylors Coffee! The price is cheaper and the coffee is not only amazing but lovely customer service too. I honestly could not fault it. Go and support this independent business you will not be disappointed.”

“This is a lovely little coffee shop just five minutes walk from Woking station. Great place to pop in for a coffee and cake. The coffee is really nice, the staff are friendly and welcoming and there is a good range of pastries and cakes to tempt anyone including vegan options.”

Better still, be a regular and try the food and drinks on offer. Don’t be put off by the thought of going up the stairs, it’s good exercise! Avoid all global chains that don’t pay a penny in taxes!”

“We visited The Clock House in May. Having never been whilst it was Drakes we were excited to see if it lived up to it's previous reputation. I can safely say it did - and we had a brilliant experience. It's a close shave between this restaurant and Stovells in Chobham for the title of most special restaurant we've visited in Surrey. Clock House may just take it - as not only is the food first class, so is the atmosphere, dining room and service. Looking forward to the next special occasion which might warrant a return here. Let's hope they achieve a Michelin star too - they deserve it.”

“We went for dinner and were very impressed with the experience. The restaurant itself is somewhat dated, but that’s not a criticism, it’s like walking back in time and the level of service reflects that. The waiters and all staff we dealt with were very kind and entertaining. The food, well, the food was sublime! I would recommend to anyone and we will be returning in a few weeks to try some other items on the menu! Fresh bread and butter on arrival was a nice touch, especially because the bread rolls were shaped like tiny loafs which was a nice touch!”

“A lovely evening in the outside area, they have new comfy seats and heaters. The staff were amazing, attentive and happy to explain the menu. Delicious hummus. Mixed grill, saffron rice and the bread and dips especially the garlic one. Free desert milk pudding was amazing. Great Lebanese beer too. We will be back soon with the rest of the family.
