“Our Pakistani friend took us to Haweli restaurant in Ilford for dinner. We had lamb and chicken curry, lamb biryani, various kebabs, it was delicious, and our first time having Pakistani food, we all loved it. Sumbul provided excellent service. She was very polite and hospitable.”

“I was Dubious about dining here after reading some of the reviews about management/staff But must confirm the place was amazing! We booked a table for 20:15, arrived at 20:10 and was seated at 20:15 our waitress took our drinks order and advised on some wine. She promptly returned with the drinks poured the wine and we ordered starters. Within minutes they was on our table. The main meal we was not sure about as the menu had some very nice sounding dishes. The order was placed and when they arrived at the table we all said WOW they was all presented well and looked devine. Our wine glasses topped up and we tucked in... the food was 1st class it really did taste delicious! The table was cleared and deserted ordered again fantastic! Very tasty. Would have loved a coffee but I was full. So to sum up the staff where professional, the food and deserts amazing! Can't wait to return to sample the menu.”

“I was working in this area for a few days not many places to sit and eat unless you want to takeaway. I came across Sky Coffee Lounge it's in between a coffee shop and restaurant. There is a sandwich menu and hot food menu, serving a variety of cold and hot beverages. On the day I visited it was quiet and I was talking to the owner. If you live near here give it a try you won't be disappointed. The atmosphere is wonderful, if you're alone bring a book or newspaper, relax so some reading, meet some friends for lunch or if you have a casual date organise to visit this place.”

“Had a nice meal here for my Aunts birthday. It was quite busy but not noisy. The fixed price lunch menu was good value. The a la carte looked a bit pricey! I had the ribs my aunt had the salmon. We were served by the delightful Alissa and really enjoyed the food and the ambience. Recommended.”

The moment you walk in, you’re hit with the amazing smell of freshly grilled patties, and the atmosphere is warm, casual, and inviting. I tried their signature burger, and it was perfect—juicy, flavorful, and stacked just right with fresh toppings. The bun was soft but held everything together, and the sauce added that extra kick without overpowering the meat. Their fries were crispy, golden, and clearly made with care, not just tossed in as an afterthought.”

“Came here for drinks with family and friends later jist before christmas- great drinks and atmosphere, food looked delicious but I never ate anything but my cousin said it was very good pub food. Second time around coming here, will definitely come back when back in town again! Great local spot!”

“This pub always used to be my local but was looking old and tired. They’ve recently had a refurb and honestly it looks great. Service is good, food is tasty and it’s one of the few proper pubs left. Will definitely be my local again. Highly recommend it!”

Man the food was incredible the vegetarian hotdog is to die for and the pizza was moist thick and lovely. In fact we even got a burger for free but don't expect it everytime. “We just celebrated my son's 18th Bday here. We been living in this neighbourhood for over a decade and we never visited the pub as it had a bad reputation but since new management took over and the pub been refurbished it looks truly amazing. Great food menu. Great affordable variety of drinks. The service is impeccable and very friendly staff. My husband is a wheelchair user, the pub has wheelchair access but you got to put the foldable ramp down yourself what didn't bother us as we do that daily at home anyway. Overall a 5* pub very clean and tidy... And they do karaoke on Thursdays aswell. A place I highly recommend.”

“This is my third time going in here and I always had good time and vibes, the staff and the manager are very friendly and professional, We went also in group during the football game(England and Spain) and the servings was still good even if the pub was full, I recommend the chips and the chicken, there is also lots of space outside in the "garden" and inside.
