Amber and Chris, who work there, are always friendly and welcoming. The pub has a three-legged cat who’s very well cared for. He only likes people he knows, so be careful when you first meet him — he can be a bit grumpy. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, the beer is excellent, there’s a pool table, board games on the shelves, comfy sofas, and bar stools perfect for chatting with Chris and Amber. I’ve been living here for a year, and this is by far the best pub in London for anyone looking for a calm, local spot away from the tourist scene. I absolutely love this place.”

“Ruislip Stars Nurseries is a fantastic nursery that my husband and I would highly recommend. Our daughter started at Victoria Road but has now moved to the new St Mary's (on the Fairway) branch. Our daughter has attended full-time since she was ten months old and has thrived under the care and affection shown by the whole team. They have always provided the highest level of care and enabled her to achieve her full potential. Our daughter suffers from multiple severe food allergies and it is very reassuring knowing that she is being looked after by such a diligent team. Nicole is a wonderful leader and is working with a fantastic team. Our son also attended the setting during his summer holidays and had nothing but positive things to say - in fact he was a little sad when his time there came to an end!
