“We had booked in for a supper at 5pm telling the staff we had an appointment at 6pm . Our waitress was eager to speed things along and we ordered our pizzas and wine within a few minutes. We enjoyed our meal and were able to eat without rushing to make our appointment.”

Wednesday’s banquet night is a real treat where you can eat la carte and try their house specialities at reduced rates. If you want a standard curry option they are well executed too.”

“Walked in late lunch. Ordered bacon and egg soft bap. After debating which bread I wanted roll, sandwich or soft bap. Has got to be one of the best and reasonably priced lunch break for a long time. Staff very friendly and willing to help. And will literally go out of their way to accommodate if possible. Amazing service and food”

“Incredible customer service from the establishment. Despite deliveroo being terrible, I called up the takeaway and they sorted it out right away (without deliveroo involved). I would recommend ordering directly from them. Pizzas were incredible as well and came within 30 mins of sorting out deliveroo's mess. Worth the wait and definitely will be going back again.”

“We recently celebrated my daughter’s 4th Birthday here, and it was the most wonderful day! We love the farm, and knew it would be perfect for all ages, and for any adults attending without children as there’s so much to see and do. We didn’t know that the team would do so much to help us with the party! Everything got taken from us when we arrived so that they could keep it safe, our guests could hand over presents upon arrival, and the team carefully went through the party bags to set the room up and make it look incredible! They talked us through everything to make sure we knew what to expect, double checked the party list, let us add more names etc They even fixed one of the party bag items for me that broke in transit. Bowls were provided for the crisps we brought, knives and boards and lighters for the cake, balloons were blown up, extra food was ordered. They then kept everything safe until the end of the day, and it was such an easy and well thought out experience!”

“Great selection, and having ordered multiple times, I can say that the food is always very good in terms of quality, quantity and value for money. Friendly delivery people too. Only issue I have had (and not just once) is with the timed order function on the website. On one occasion, it arrived 90 minutes early and I had to send it back - we simply weren’t ready because we were in the middle of some DIY (which is why I ordered it for a set time). It’s happened since, albeit not with such an extreme difference between the time for which I requested delivery and the time food arrived. I’ve defaulted to just ordering later in the evening so that the delivery time is broadly the one I’d have chosen if the timed order function could be relied on. Like I say, that is the only gripe - just something of which to be aware if you’re someone that likes to place timed orders.”

“We turned up as a party of 4 with 2 young children without a booking at 5pm. The staff could not have been more accommodating despite being quite busy. We were advised the wait was 30 minutes to order but were offered a table and some christmas drawing activities to keep the children occupied. A nice touch. Food was exceptionally good, with both children polishing off all their plates. Steak and ale pie & highland venison duo are highly recommended for adults! Very warm and welcoming pub. Highly recommend & will certainly be calling in again in the future after a visit to Polesden Lacey.”

“Mark, the gentleman, was very kind. I went in to get a new front door handle as my previous one had broken. The style I was after wasn't available but Mark very kindly provided a temporary fix, free of charge, and explained what I should search for with 'door handle jargon' to find a replacement. Truly wonderful service.”

“We are visiting from Australia for five weeks, and just called in for a drink. Atmosphere was so good and the girl who served us was so inviting we said we would come back another day before we left. Two weeks later we stopped in for another drink and decided to stay for a meal. Wonderful food, same welcoming waitress again. The cousins we were staying with who live in Horsley who hadn’t been to the restaurant stall, heard all about this place. We ALL went back today and shared a wonderful lunch, our same waitress was there and a wonderful older man who told lots of ‘nice’ jokes. Love this place. “We were due to attend Grange Park during the 'Lost Season' of 2020, so three years later and we were delighted to see Tosca on a beautiful Saturday evening. I loved the grounds, far more natural than some opera festivals, with lots of interesting spaces to enjoy your picnic, relaxed was definitely the vibe for the evening. We went for the Grange vegetarian picnic and bottle of sparkling and although not cheap, both were excellent quality. The performance was of of course first rate with all the leads on top form. Walking back to the car through the quiet grounds was a nice way to end the evening.”

“We visited for the first time on 18/12/25, the interior was beautiful with a roaring fire, the staff were attentive, friendly and very welcoming. We had the Turkey pie to share, full of meat, with excellent pastry! We had the chocolate yuke log dessert which was phenomenal! We will be going back as it was a lovely experience.”
