“I’m not one to leave reviews, but it would’ve been unfair not to in this case. Byron and his team were extremely welcoming and friendly. I struggle to find barbers to cut my long, curly hair exactly the way I like it, but Byron got it right on his first try! Great barber shop, will definitely be one of the regulars.”

“I’ve just finished a course of shock wave therapy for a damaged Achilles and I can’t recommend this clinic enough. The staff are excellent, from the friendly, welcoming receptionists to the extremely knowledgeable chiropractor, Greg who administered the treatment, advised me on what I need to do in order to maintain a healthy Achilles and got me back walking normally again after just 6 treatments.”

“My dog loves this pets shop i have been taking her there from 6 weeks old now 2 years old she loves the owners and she loves going there to get her dog food and to say hello to the owners that have met my dog at 6 weeks old my dog never likes leaving the pets shop she loves it there x”

“We have tried a small number of groomers in the past and Hugo has been so nervous and reluctant to go the last groomer, due to an incident... But then we found Eddie's!! The girls are absolutely amazing, Hugo runs up the stairs to see them and his tail is happy wagging the entire time. He always looks extra handsome once he comes out! I am so so happy with their service and would recommend to everyone. Also, the shop is amazing and we always get the best treats when we go!”

“Just finished getting waxed by Gemma and had an excellent experience! She was warm and made me feel comfortable and we had some lovely chats throughout. The space was clean and there was a cozy heating pad on the table. Service was efficient and thorough, relatively painless (as painless as a bikini wax can be), and very reasonably priced for the quality. I will definitely be back, happy to have found a great waxer in the Beckenham area!!”

Rosie & Shanel took care of my hair brilliantly, from the moment I walked in the door I felt completely confident and reassured they know their stuff and could help! Being a family owned & run business the atmosphere in the salon is very friendly and relaxed, which is perfect for me as I am very low maintenance! I left the salon feeling a thousand times better and full of helpful tips and advice on how to get the best out of my new hair colour, and really happy knowing I have found a great new local salon. They also have a beauty therapy room, run by Lauren the therapist, who does nails, waxing & massages etc, didn’t have a treatment this time, next time! Steven knows his stuff and always helps by suggesting certain styles and ideas to make my hair look it's best. Can't rate highly enough.”

“Had a meal here recently to celebrate a birthday with friends and had a pleasant experience. Elegant interiors and friendly staff greeted us and we were led to our table. It was a bit busy but we didn't feel rushed or that the place was bursting. Good wine, delicious hot chocolate and since it was a Sunday afternoon, we decided to get the seafood starter lamb and seafood roast. The food was delicious and elegantly plated and looked like art. The courgette fries were a bit disappointing though as they were soggy and the coating had all vanished so it felt like we were having raw courgette slices. That tiny blip aside, the afternoon went perfect and the cheesecake at the end made it even more memorable.”

“I’ve found my favourite breakfast spot. Having moved to the area recently I came here for the first time for some breakfast. The menu was great - there were so many amazing and healthy options to choose from. Similarly, they offer delicious smoothie options. My breakfast came out beautifully presented and tasted amazing. One of the best I’ve had in a long time. The service was super prompt and friendly too! Can’t wait to come back!”

“Lovely coffee shop really close to the station, not the place to be sitting on your laptop (my mistake) it’s hustle and bustle and friendly customer service is great if you’re just stopping by and having a good catchup. But wouldn’t stay for long as it’s a tiny space. Definitely recommend for good coffee and quality baked goods. Had the blackberry danish was so good I forgot to take a photo!”

“My car broke down in Beckenham. Brian was driving past after finishing work and asked if he could help. I said the AA was on the way but he insisted on taking a look and trying to help move the car somewhere safer (I was at a junction). He explained the auxiliary belt was worn out and got his colleague to bring starter cables to help move it. In the end I got a call from the AA saying they were 5 mins away, but I wanted to leave a comment here to say how impressed I was.”
