Fine dining experience in Kingston Upon Thames

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Megan’s is a lovely place with a great vibe from the moment you walk in. The team is incredibly friendly and makes you feel comfortable straight away. The setting works perfectly for families, friends, couples, and even pets, which makes it really special. We came in for brunch and thoroughly enjoyed the food — fresh, tasty, and well presented. A special mention to Kaveri, whose cheerful and attentive service made our visit feel happy and relaxed. The little goodbye surprise at the end was a nice touch and definitely made us want to return.”

“We visited here on a Saturday around 3pm for a celebration dinner. We booked in advance for inside seating. There is outside seating which is perfect on a sunny date as right next to the river. The staff were very welcoming and helpful with their recommendations for food and drinks. We all opted for three courses, they do have weekend set Menus which is worth a look. All the meals arrived in perfect timing, they gave enough time between each meal so it wasn’t rushed. Everything was cooked beautifully and a really enjoyable meal. We will definitely be visiting again!”

“Lovely pub with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and always ready to help, offering great recommendations for drinks. The food is delicious, with generous portions and plenty of flavour. There’s a wide variety of beers and other liquors to choose from, so there’s something for everyone. A great spot for a relaxed and enjoyable time!,”

“What an incredible find five minutes walk from the town centre. Very tastefully decorated in a minimalistic fashion. Everything looked freshly refurbished. The bedroom and en suite bathroom looked as though they had been recently decorated and were very nicely done. No expense had been spared. My only complaints were that the upstairs hallway was unbearably hot and nobody attended to the room whilst we were out. Nonetheless, we had a wonderful stay here. The available food was unusual and not as described on their website so be aware but it was still tasty and served its purpose of filling us up before we went out. There is onsite parking which consisted of two spaces and a disabled bay so they will be allocated on a first come first served basis. I believe that there is public parking nearby but cannot confirm.”

“This place changed hands recently (late 2023), so the previous photos and reviews are no longer relevant. It is still a Korean restaurant, now called Yami. It now has Korean BBQ, Sushi, Korean fried Chicken, Bibimbap etc. It does lack some dishes the old place had (no Gimbap or udon soups) but is still good food and inexpensive. £20 for half a fried chicken and Bibimbap.”

“Came in for lunch,which was really good and great price. Then found there was a shufl board and had fun playing. Half an hour for £8. Joey was really helpful and friendly. And was really good with all his customers.”

“Very ‘authentic’ HK style dimsum - love it here! A little bit pricey, but hey it is Kingston after all! Lucky to have this spot as a local restaurant. They have changed owner / name of the restaurant recently- FYI. Fav dishes so far - the siu mai, har gau, pork buns, custard cream buns and the pork pastry. Decent beef hor fun.”

“We are sushi lovers and always looking for a great sushi places. This place is very local for us, so we decided to give it a try. As we understood place opened recently, food quality is amazing, lots of ingredient and everything is super fresh! As started we took aubergine (on the photo), just delicious and then we went for rolls only, 4 in total and I cannot tell which one was better, all amazing. Guys, please don’t get worse with the time. Please keep the same food quality. Can’t recommend this place enough and looking forward to come back.. tomorrow ;)”

“I visited Bindaas Kingston Restaurant with my family on December 14th 2025, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home—their hospitality was truly outstanding and created a welcoming atmosphere. The food was excellent, with every dish full of flavor and beautifully presented. The menu has a variety of options, and each item we ordered exceeded our expectations. “Had an amazing dinner at Roz Ana! Someone had recommended this place to us previously, so we decided to head there when the craving for Indian food hit, and it far exceeded our expectations. It was our first time trying momos, and we were thoroughly impressed by how well the spices blended together. The skin of the momos had a lovely texture — it wasn’t too tough or doughy — and the dipping sauce complemented them perfectly. The other dishes we ordered were equally good and flavourful. I particularly enjoyed the chicken tikka Laphroaig masala (hope I got the spelling right), which paired beautifully with the naans. The fried fish (amritsari macchi) was another highlight, with its crisp, tasty batter. The fish was fresh, with none of the taste or smell of overused oil that you sometimes encounter elsewhere. Overall, it was a wonderful meal and experience at Roz Ana. I’ll definitely be returning!”

“It’s a beautiful little French cafe at Kingston. We had a chicken and garlic wrap and chicken & bacon wrap with a cappuccino. The portion was a good size and it tasted delicious. We also had a pistachio cheese cake slice, it was good too. They had a good selection of desserts. Everything is reasonably priced. You can sit outside with a coffee and just watch the world go by. Would definitely recommend this place.”

“A diamond in Richmond. It's an old house based hotel renieuwd. Loverly employees how makes everything possible and make you feel home. Good room, nice breakfast en lovely dinner in the restaurant as well as the cafeteria. Delicious lins soup. They still working on the hotel. They're making it nicer, if this is possible.”

“Location is good and parking is reasonable near by. We parked at the carpark by premier inn and ncp, open car park. We were going to see Craig David in Circuit and wanted to eat before. This is literally opposite the station,a few minutes walk from circuit. We had eaten here before but not for early dinner. It was fantastic then and cannot fault anything. The service is amazing and we did walk in so expected to wait . It was busy but we did not wait long. They cleared a table for 2 and we looked at the menu within minutes. We were not rushed at all. The drinks came straight away and we were ready to order. Every thing is fresh and tasty. The price is very reasonable. Highly recommended for all”
