“Lovely shop. Well stocked for arts and crafts. Some people say its pricey but don't think it is compared to other independent art supply shops in Rochester or Canterbury for example. Staff helpful and they have a lovely range of gift items and greetings cards too.”

I have had my haircut with Michael at Allen’s Barbershop since it opened & will continue to do so. Nice place to be, good atmosphere & very clean. The new booking system now makes it easy to book an appointment.”

“Dentist Deepika, Nurse Ravi and Receptionist Helen have all been absolutely amazing. I’m currently in the middle of root canal treatments which stemmed off of an infection in one of my back teeth and I couldn’t recommend them enough. They have been so understanding, reassuring, kind and welcoming and have taken the time to listen to my needs and concerns. “I met Louisa, when she was using a shed in her parents garden. She had just qualified, I found her when I met her mother dog walking and said how beautiful her standard poodle cut was. I asked if she could do my Bedlington terrier, as I wasn't happy with the cuts given by other groomers in the area. Over 30 years she has groomed my 5 Bedlingtons, I have just lost my 17 year old. I like to think I helped her love of Bedlingtons and her achievements in their grooming. Louisa is excellent with all breeds and I recommend her highly.”

“Been using Sparks for over 30 years. Brilliant place for professionals and diy. Get everything you need in one place with knowledgeable and helpful staff. Wood cut to size if needed and tools and equipment available. Deliveries locally incredibly cheap. Highly recommended. We need to use places like this rather than the diy supermarkets that make huge profit on things like small packets of screws and nuts and bolts. Try them for yourself!”

“So we were looking for a nice restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday, with our two kids. My wife is a lover of seafood so found really positive reviews for The Boys Italian Seafood Restaurant. It's hidden away down Queen Street in Gravesend - a quiet area of the town close to parking. OMG - this is heaven if you, like my missus, love all foods that come out of an ocean or river. What can I say. Great food (couldn't fault anything at all), very good service, very friendly family run business, reasonably priced too. They specifically made a fresh pizza for our three year old son (it was delicious by the way). If you, like us, love seafood....or if you want to grab a freshly made true Italian pizza, then I'd recommend The Boys anytime. We're so impressed we will be going back real soon.”
