“Plenty of open space and wooded areas to explore, with the well appointed hub for all your other needs(cafe, toilets), and a great play park for the kiddies. Miniature railway and a small farm nearby, can't recommend enough. We went for this year's fireworks display and it didn't disappoint. Well worth a family visit.”

“This B/B was the most perfect location to stay in absolute comfort and attention for visiting Harry potter studio tours, we took our 8 year old grandson and booked the wizardry room as a surprise and when we arrived Marrick met us at reception and he was so friendly and took us to a double room, my grandson was a little bit bored, then he said wrong one and took him to the Harry potter room Elliots face was just amazing to witness, I can only sum this B/B in a few words Room perfect, management perfect, Continental breakfast perfect, location perfect, value for money perfect. “The staff at this Travis Perkins are fantastic. My partner and I had a pipe burst in our flat and we needed some industrial dehumidifiers to help with the soaking wet walls and ceilings. John was extremely helpful and understanding, he helped us rent out the dehumidifiers and helped get them into our flat very quickly and we are incredibly grateful. The quick response to our needs has helped us massively in the long term. I highly recommend going to Travis Perkins.”

“Khalida from U-Floria made FABULOUS flower arrangements for our wedding!!!!! It was exactly what myself and my partner wanted and we are super grateful to her and her team. Our guests also thought they were amazing and were really impressed. Looking at the photos, the flowers show their vibrant colours and we are really pleased with the look and design Khalida achieved. Nothing was too much trouble and she also planned a second bouquet for throwing the bouquet, which was a thoughtful touch, so that I could keep the bridal bouquet. Khalida was also there to help me before I entered the church and both my partner and I are sincerely grateful for her remarkable work. “Recently stayed here for trip to Harry Potter world. Excellent accommodation, comfortable beds. 2 bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen. Everything you need to for a home away from home stay. Parking was excellent. Close to train station just a couple of mins drive. We had a day in London and it is only 1 stop on the fast train. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Great little shop, excellent for pet food, seeds and gardening supplies, and the best key cutting around. My son moved away and tried to get keys cut several times, they didn't work, got them cut here and worked perfectly and excellent price too. Thank you”

“Had a great experience at the Wetherspoon in Watford. The ambience was really nice — welcoming and relaxed, perfect for a casual outing. The food was good and reasonably priced, living up to the Wetherspoon standard. The place was clean throughout, and the washrooms were surprisingly well maintained, which isn’t always the case in busy pubs. Overall, the place is aesthetically pleasing and well looked after. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!”

“Lovely hotel which was perfectly situated! 15 min drive from st Albans which was lovely to explore with a stunning cathedral. And 15 min drive the other way to Harry potter world!! So perfect for us, friendly staff with full use of pool, sauna and steam room so that was a huge plus. Rooms were simple but had everything required. Food was lovely at the hotel and something that made me super happy was when asked for a take out box, They had these biodegradable boxes (instead of the standard plastic tubs) and paper straws! ✌ so big shout out for that.”
