Ladio and all the instructors / assistants are great with the kids and very approachable. Classes are also fantastic value - no regrets signing him up at all!”

“Really good club to learn the art form of Capoeira in a safe controlled environment. Club members are friendly and eager to help out. Coming from a different capoeira school I felt quite at home. Equal attention is given to teaching the music and culture connected to Capoeira. There are outdoor training sessions during summer. Sereia is a really great coach/teacher with a high level of mental and physical energy which is very contagious. Her classes are very accommodating to beginners and are structured for all levels. Her training methods are very organised and you’ll find your fitness level improving and progression at your game very quickly. Classes on Mondays and Wednesdays are a cartwheel away from Royal Oak station with ample parking around it. Friday class is at a great location across from Paddington station, plenty of pubs and restaurants for Friday evenings after training drinks and meals. Would highly recommend joining and training on a regular basis or just stopping by for a trial class to see it for yourself.”

“Joe is a fantastic wrestling coach with incredible attention to detail. His classes are suitable for both beginners and seasoned practitioners. He is always happy to help with any questions or concerns. Besides all that, Joe is a very friendly, happy person and is a pleasure to be around. You won't find a better coach than Joe!”

“Just started my course at AYA and I’m so impressed with the teaching style and atmosphere. I was so scared to start something like this in a group but everyone was welcoming and the tutor took time to watch us individually and guide us. Venue wise, my sat nav took me to the road before Oakley but I quickly realised to follow it around, taking two right turns and that brings you to the front of the South Norwood venue.”

“Our two sons are currently attending Playdays, in the baby room and in the preschool room. We are extremely happy with the nursery. The staff is very kind and caring and most of them have been around for many years which is great as a lot of nurseries nearby have a high staff turnover. The nursery is very well managed by Miss Kerry and everything runs smoothly. The children have the opportunity to do lots of activities (baby yoga, dance, french, swimming...) as well as regular trips to the park. We would 100% recommend this nursery to parents.”

“Great job, entrusting your baby to have their ears pierced is a big deal at 3 months. Rob did a great job both putting me at easy and piercing my littleones ears. Nice selection of earrings at reasonable prices which included piercing and aftercare liquid with instructions. I travelled over an hour across London but it was well worth the drive. Parking available nearby. Thx”

“My son loves going to nursery now. He excitedly runs to get to press the doorbell to go in and comes out smiling at pick up. It wasn't an easy start for him as he hadn't been away from me apart from with a couple of other family members before. Staff were accommodating and mindful of his needs and discussed with me how to help him settle and worked to find a strategy that made him feel nursery was a safe space. They were also very kind when I had my own little wobble as I was feeling worried about the whole situation. I love that new activities are set up each day. Pictures of these and of what the kids are up to are posted on the private parents facebook group a couple times a day. It means we can show my son and chat about his day and what is going on at nursery. It helps build his speech, but also allows us to learn more about who is important to him at nursery and what he enjoys even though he isn't yet able to express it fully in words. My son enjoys being outside. With the nursery's vast garden and free flow between in and outdoors most of the time, he clearly makes the most of it. Good wipe down coat advisable.”

“Having had experience with another nursery prior to moving to the area a year and a half ago, we can honestly say The Fountain is run with transparency, integrity, and our children's well being at heart of what they do. Staff are friendly, informative and honest. Our two boys joined at 1 and 3 years old and they have loved it, from the staff and friends they've made, to the array of daily activities, as well as events that parents/caretakers can join. “The Oak Montessori is the most unbelievable nursery and we feel so lucky to have both our children attend. Our little girl started at 2 and is about the go into to primary school and our little boy Felix (2) started recently and they couldn’t be happier. The teachers are the most nurturing people, with unparalleled experience with children and the Montessori ways. The knowledge they have about theory and practices within the education space is incredible. The combination of indoor and forest school makes this a really special setting and the environment they have is a true delight. We couldn’t recommend them more highly.”

“We absolutely loved Nathalie’s sensory classes and always looked forward to our Thursday mornings. The sessions are so thoughtfully designed and perfectly tuned into babies’ development. The quality of the resources and the care that goes into each themed session is truly incredible. Starting when my baby was just 3–4 months old gave me so much confidence as a new mum, and it was so lovely to connect with other mums along the way. Nathalie creates such a warm, welcoming space, we couldn’t recommend these classes enough.”

“This review is long overdue as I finished lessons with Turner last year - and have been swimming once or twice a week since! :) Huge thank you to Thomas, an amazing asset to the Turner team - Thomas' honesty meant I was fully aware from the beginning of the big undertaking of learning to swim given my water phobia - but he stuck with me through the process and we eventually got there! Learning to swim was one of the most challenging things I've ever done, but I also had a LOT of fun and really looked forward to my bi-weekly lessons. It's a big commitment as a complete beginner, you may laugh and cry, but if you're willing to put in the work, Thomas and team are professional, patient and lovely and will 100% get you there. Hoping to return in the future to learn the breaststroke!”
