“Really good club to learn the art form of Capoeira in a safe controlled environment. Club members are friendly and eager to help out. Coming from a different capoeira school I felt quite at home. Equal attention is given to teaching the music and culture connected to Capoeira. There are outdoor training sessions during summer. Sereia is a really great coach/teacher with a high level of mental and physical energy which is very contagious. Her classes are very accommodating to beginners and are structured for all levels. Her training methods are very organised and you’ll find your fitness level improving and progression at your game very quickly. Classes on Mondays and Wednesdays are a cartwheel away from Royal Oak station with ample parking around it. Friday class is at a great location across from Paddington station, plenty of pubs and restaurants for Friday evenings after training drinks and meals. Would highly recommend joining and training on a regular basis or just stopping by for a trial class to see it for yourself.”

“Joe is a fantastic wrestling coach with incredible attention to detail. His classes are suitable for both beginners and seasoned practitioners. He is always happy to help with any questions or concerns. Besides all that, Joe is a very friendly, happy person and is a pleasure to be around. You won't find a better coach than Joe!”

“Just started my course at AYA and I’m so impressed with the teaching style and atmosphere. I was so scared to start something like this in a group but everyone was welcoming and the tutor took time to watch us individually and guide us. Venue wise, my sat nav took me to the road before Oakley but I quickly realised to follow it around, taking two right turns and that brings you to the front of the South Norwood venue.”

“This review is long overdue as I finished lessons with Turner last year - and have been swimming once or twice a week since! :) Huge thank you to Thomas, an amazing asset to the Turner team - Thomas' honesty meant I was fully aware from the beginning of the big undertaking of learning to swim given my water phobia - but he stuck with me through the process and we eventually got there! Learning to swim was one of the most challenging things I've ever done, but I also had a LOT of fun and really looked forward to my bi-weekly lessons. It's a big commitment as a complete beginner, you may laugh and cry, but if you're willing to put in the work, Thomas and team are professional, patient and lovely and will 100% get you there. Hoping to return in the future to learn the breaststroke!”

“Little Learners Northwood is a wonderful nursery with a team of caring and nurturing staff who really do go above and beyond for the children. My son has been attending for a year and is thriving thanks to the wonderful team. They take great care of all the children and are so friendly and welcoming. It's wonderful to recieve pictures during the day to see what our son has been up to. Every day the teachers set up different activities based on themes throughout the year such as mothers day, diwali, Halloween, Christmas etc. We are so pleased we chose Little Learners for our son.”

“Like all parents, I was anxious about sending my 1 yr old daughter to nursery when I returned to work but I didn’t need to worry – the nursery is a real gem & she loved it from day one. Little Aisha has a warm, friendly, family feel and the staff genuinely care about the kids. Our daughter really bonded with her key workers in butterfly and caterpillar room . We couldn’t ask for more in terms of the support, love & attention she receives.”

“We’ve sent both our DS to this nursery over the last 3 years. The consistency of care is fantastic; same consistent carers mean they have really taken care and helped our sons to develop. They worked with us through any “leaps”, teething or potty training situations. The chef David has been amazing, catering to their dietary needs (vegetarian, no onion/ garlic) with a smile and enthusiasm. The boys over the years have really enjoyed each day and their time especially with the Montessori approach. We get verbal feedback at the end of each day (whether a quick brief or more detailed as required). We loved that the boys were taken outside to the green common next door whenever feasible and were exposed weekly to music afternoons and exercise / sport sessions. They come back having painted, played, read books, learnt about culture and everything in between. The carers have been amazing - Kim, Rosa, Camilla, Lucy, Tiana, Prima, Cara, Leena, and recently Saheeda - we’ve known most of these over the last 3 years if not all of them (and they are still there!) - that consistency of presence and care has been incredible in providing a “second home” to our children. They know our boys, and saw them grow up from less than 12 months of age to 3 years. It was a really warming and caring environment which helped nurture our sons at such a young age. The love given to them (even at their worst times) was and has been invaluable. We’ve (all of us) had a truly happy experience with the fortune green team. From our perspective and from what I heard from parents at other nurseries, this is the one of the best nurseries in West Hampstead; despite others perhaps being more convenient location wise, or “newer”. Finally, this review has not come as a one-off assessment or as a new parent who recently joined; it’s over 2-3 years of experience with two very different type of DS. Thank you to the fortune green team for being there with us for our boys; my wife and I will not forget our time together and for ALL the right reasons. Lots of love S&K, A&V.”

“Sutherland has been a great nursery! Our son really enjoyed his time there, but he had to leave due to relocation. The highlight was the staff who were very kind and sweet. My son settled very well after a couple of weeks. He often wanted a morning cuddle from the staff with a smile on his face when I dropped him off in the morning. They did lots of fun activities, like making cards, costume party, celebration for national book day and sensory activities. The management team is very responsive. When I asked about the dietary plan and requested more meals with meat/fish, they acted in a few days to increase to 4 days/week with meat/fish. We also like their onsite kitchen so all the food could be prepared freshly for our son :) Their financial manager Julia is very friendly and helpful. She usually replies my email promptly with detailed answers. When my son needed to leave after giving notice, they made some adaptation for our schedule and waived some of the fee. That was very appreciated! We were a bit shocked by the 48hr quarantine policy regardless of the child's illness. That was challenging for us as two full-time working parents, but the manager said that policy will be reviewed in the future. Overall, our experience with Sutherland was great!”

My child struggled to settle in a previous nursery, but here he quickly felt comfortable and was happily staying for 5 hours.
