“I had my Baby Shower here. There were 11 of us in total and we all had afternoon tea which consisted of four delicious courses and unlimited teas, coffees, hot chocolates and water. The food was so good and the service was outstanding. Sharon was so accommodating and friendly and no request was too big. The staff went to the trouble of decorating the chairs for us too! It was a really lovely afternoon full of laughter, yummy food and excellent service and I cannot fault it at all! Highly recommend to everyone wanting a quaint, friendly and intimate setting that serve delicious food and go above and beyond.”

“Family Christmas meal for 9. Was a bit apprehensive at first. We had a brilliant time. The food was lovely. The staff and manager. Wow I take my hat off to them. The place was packed but they did a great job. The singer was very good but as we were near had a bit of trouble talking. Would definitely recommend this pub.”

“This pub is fantastic. Music Friday Saturday Sunday. All staff and landlady friendly. Due to recent reviews there are a few horrible reviews from a sour ex partner that is an alcoholic and was caught drink drinking 5 times over the limit. Please ignore them as these are being handled in the appropriate manner. Please come see for yourself, before putting this pub at the bottom of your list. Landlady is professional, helpful and very friendly”

“Honestly, there are moments when I really wish Google would allow me to leave a ten star review for a company - because this is one of those rare occasions where it would be so completely warranted... From the very moment I spoke with Harley I could tell he was running an extremely slick, professional, courteous, experience-driven, client-focused travel agency. He was quick and precise (and upfront/honest) with all his answers and gave me so much confidence in booking. I also had the pleasure of being assisted greatly by Alice, who was so friendly, refreshingly upbeat and personable. She replied to literally every single email within minutes, was utterly 'on point' during all our calls and understood my concerns before I'd even brought them up - amazing; a real asset to the company. I simply cannot recommend this business highly enough and will always book my flights, hotels and holiday packages through Horton Holidays. Their prices are extremely competitive and their excellent service bestows their commitment to providing all their client's with nothing less than a perfect, truly bespoke service. “The owners of this Hotel, Lucky and Nina, are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. They are kind and helpful and always have time for a chat. The Hotel is a listed building and has been renovated into a beautiful hotel with everything you could possibly need. It is incredibly clean, warm and homely. The rooms are gorgeous with lovely fittings and the bathroom has really good light and a nice shower with constant hot water. I felt so at home and comfortable I did not want to leave. I have stayed in many hotels all over the world but this Hotel beats the lot! What more can I say? 5 star rating plus from me and a great big thank you to our hosts.”
