“Five stars with bells on! Our two children adore Vicarage Christ Church nursery. Our eldest still talks about being there with huge affection and remembers so many of the incredible activities they did. These ranged from free play to playing with foam to cooking to topic-based craft activities. The children play outside on tricycles, slides, obstacle courses and have story time under the trees. The dedicated and fun staff take the on regular walks onto Sheen Common and sometimes on Nursery excursions to see the trains or into Richmond Park. Meanwhile, embedded within all their learning is an understanding of letters, sounds, numbers and developing social skills. Our youngest is still at the nursery and runs to see his teachers with excitement every morning. The children all look adorable in their red and white smocks and we regularly see photographs and are provided with updates of their activities and on their progress. Both our children grew in confidence in the teachers (who have been their for ages) care, and I couldn’t think of a better nursery and start to their schooling than Vicarage Christ Church Nursery.”

My instructor, Bill, was absolutely brilliant. His experience really shone through, especially with the practical training manoeuvres. He made everything incredibly clear and easy to understand giving you confidence to handle the boat at high and low speeds. Beyond the hands-on training, Bill's theoretical explanations of boat mechanics, safety protocols, and navigation were clear and comprehensive. He managed to make what could be dry subjects genuinely engaging and easy to grasp. On top of all that, he made the whole experience a lot of fun! If you're looking to get your powerboat license, look no further than London Powerboat School. You won't be disappointed!”

“We had visited quite a few nurseries for my 18-month old and and were thrilled to find Crafty Wizards preschool which unusually for a preschool takes from 18-months. We love the format that all ages are mixed together promoting peer learning and the setting is intimate and personal. The staff are wonderful and really care about the kids. There are two gardens, one of which is a bit like a small forest school with a mud kitchen, which our little one loves. Since day 1 he’s been so happy to be there with zero separation anxiety. Highly recommend to other parents who want something different to the usual nursery format.”

“We had a glorious sunny morning for our SUP lesson with Claire who could not have been more helpful. She was on hand with advice and encouragement throughout and quickly had us all up and paddling down the Thames. The equipment felt good quality and safe. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and one I would definitely recommend for all ages. I was a little apprehensive about falling into the Thames but Claire quickly comes to the rescue to help get you back onboard and it's all part of the fun providing entertainment for the local residents and passing rowers! :-) A great morning out on the river!”

“I started doing Taekwondo around 2012—2013 when Daniel was teaching Taekwondo classes at London South Bank University. Daniel is a really well rounded and very accomplished martial artist and person, training with him has helped me to achieve a better version of myself. At the club you can learn different things from Taekwondo, self-defence or join the circuit sessions. Shakira is the club manager/CEO, she knows how to make everything work at the club and she really understands people. When you visit the club you will see and feel that you could not be in more capable hands!”

She was nervous to start with but Lisa and the team were amazing at encouraging her to give it a try and even offered us a second free trial, after which I could barely drag her away at the end! Really can’t recommend highly enough, even for the shy children it’s a brilliant confidence boost.”

Our daughter takes several dance classes in different disciplines which she absolutely loves. All 3 of our children also attend Starlight, their musical theatre course, which they enjoy immensely. The numerous performance opportunities the children have had has really helped them to grow in confidence and to develop life skills which sadly can't always be taught within the confines of the National Curriculum. RSB's teachers are fantastic, both in their level of expertise and their ability to nurture the children as individuals.”

She was super friendly, flexible with arranging sessions and extremely patient with two non-dancers, creating the perfect safe space for learning. We had a slightly unusual first dance song and she went above and beyond to choreograph a routine that worked perfectly. “Jack provided private lessons to both myself and my wife before our wedding, along with group lessons for both our hen and stag dos. He's an amazing dancer and his passion for dancing and teaching is contagious. Jack made us feel completely comfortable and he helps you learn whether you can dance or have two left feet. The group sessions for our friends were great fun. Jack had even the most seasoned English wallflowers up on their feet. We will both be having further private lessons and we can't recommend Jack highly enough.”
