“We came as a family of 5 plus a medium dog, all different generations, for a pre Christmas meal and it was exceptional. I have worked in hospitality for a decade and I can't understand why this doesn't have a higher review score. The food was the best I've had in a pub in years, the service was so personal and attentive without being imposing. We had a few dietary requirements that were accommodated with no bother at all. The atmosphere was lovely and overall we are just so thrilled to have such a wonderful pub in the village. The new management have really created such a cosy, welcoming vibe with really high standards of food and service. Thank you - highly recommend.”

“I currently have 2 children at the school and 1 that left 4 years ago. There have been several changes over the years and I am pleased to say that since Mrs Tracey Boanas took over, the school has improved a lot. We recently had a family bereavement and have faced a few difficult challenges but Tracey has been very supportive along with all of the staff and we feel this has benefitted the children and they know that their teachers are there to listen to them whenever they need to talk. Both of the children are doing well academically and look forward to going to school each day. It is a lovely little village school whereby the teachers always make time for you no matter what the query! If you’re looking for a small village school then I highly recommend this one.”
