“I went to Shwarma Bar with my girlfriends to celebrate my friends birthday. The hostess is the most charming lovely lady imaginable and the staff were equally superb. Food was amazing, packed with flavour and spices. If you like Mediterranean tapas this place is for you! Couldn’t recommend more highly.”

“Finally tried this place and so glad we did! Had their Shawarmas mixed, lamb only and chicken only - and they all tasted great! Their chilli sauce is a must try it’s homemade. “This is a must-try at Camden Market in the shipping container food court. Finding and then eating at Mr Ali was the best part of our day. We ordered the mixed shawarma (beef + chicken), and it was incredible. The freshness of the ingredients + the incredible flavors of the meats were some of the best we’ve had across 25+ restaurant trips over the last 8 days in London. The chef himself was also kind and welcoming. I hope they open a shop in Chicago. Make time to try Mr. Ali!”

“Mr Walid and Lena are beautiful people and they serve delicious food. I have been coming here everyday for over a year and they honestly treat me so warm and friendly, like family. The food is fresh and seasoned to perfection. I often struggle with what to pick but I can never go wrong with the chicken Tawouk or chicken shawarma or the lamb kofte. No matter what you order it will be made to your liking and you will not regret giving their food a try. The service is fast and efficient. Everything is well worth the price! The food keeps me all day during my studies. I promise you will be a regular customer as I am for them. Stepping into the their establishment is one of the best decisions , I’ve ever made.”

“Wonderful taste.. The place has a nice atmosphere, but it’s a bit crowded. As soon as you sit down, soup and salad are served immediately. The lamb dishes are good, and we also liked the kebabs. The prices are quite reasonable too.”

“Just finished my 10/10 meal from al quds and it was amazing! The food was fresh, big portions but it was cheaper than most! The rice was very soft and fluffy which was appealing to my family. We also ordered the shawarma tray and the chicken was juicy and fresh, the sauces aren't greasy but rather fresh and overall a very good meal! Highly recommend! 5 stars all around! Only got a photo of the chips sorry!”

“This is place is incredible and we had such a good time. I had the lamb tagine with aubergine and my partner had the vegetarian tagine with goats cheese (which she said was delicious). My lamb was falling off the bone and the whole meal was superb. It’s also a BYOB place with no corkage costs. Would absolutely recommend this - service was great and decent price for amazing quality food - still thinking about it now!”

“I haven’t been in London in seven years and I was delighted to see that there’s a Comptoir near my hotel. The food here is so delicious and also nutritious. I am fiber and lean proteins and plenty of beautiful spices. As a gal from LA, you don’t get a lot of Lebanese cuisine regularly. Visiting, far was an absolute delay. Service was great from Ash. Food came out quickly, piping hot, and the texture of the crispy rice with the chickpeas is to die for! I’m going to be dreaming about this meal for weeks to come. Highly recommend to anyone who likes their food to have good seasonings in a colorful ambiance.”
