“My daughter started in Uxbridge Early Years in 2020 after the lockdown. During her induction period, we received all support we needed from the staff. It was greatly appreciated, especially after being at home during pandemic. Throughout these three years, my daughter has learnt at the nursery not only communication, and language, but also social and emotional skills. She has met lifelong friends. Together, they have learnt to share and care for each other. Nursery staff has shown true professionalism, hard work , and most important, love for all kids. They have supported us every step of the way with her Potty Training, her tantrums and her fears. When we had our second daughter ,all staff helped us with our first daughter’s transition from a single child to a big sister. We are truly grateful for the knowledge and kindness. Our second daughter started 2years ago. Once again, her induction was wonderful thanks to the nursery. She is still breastfeeding. They have accommodated everything to continue with breast milk. I can see the amazing job of each member of the nursery when I see the smile on her face every time we arrive at the nursery. We have enjoyed all events organised by the nursery: Ladies breakfast, Jubilee Celebrations, World Book day, Christmas, Sports Week… These wonderful events help parents building relationships with each other and creating a support community for all our children. For all reasons above, Uxbridge Early Years Centre is a unique place with the best staff we could ask for. It is the nursery a parent would choose for his children. “My experience has been really great since joining the Central Uxbridge Surgery. The doctors and the team have been so helpful. Christina, in particular, has been such a friendly face and has always been so welcoming and easy to talk to. She has always listened and taken on any concerns or queries I have had and has always tried her best to find a resolve. She’s a gem and a real asset to the team! Dr. A Abas has been an incredible GP, he was the first doctor I had seen since joining the surgery and his calm, polite and warm nature really helped me feel at ease. “I can't thank more Tony and Henry who treated my back pain. I lost my sleep for so many days due to my back issue. They have diagonsed the issue correctly and gave me the treatment. Tony and Henry both are very knowledgable and very patiently listen to my complaints. They have explained me about the root casue of the issue and about the treatment very well. I really got my sleep back from the second week of my treatment (physio massages & stretches). I couldn't have got my sleep and normal walk back without their treatments. “My Son has been going to The Young Once since end of November 2024. When I saw him get off the breakfast table and walk by himself to the baby area, it was such a proud moment. He feels happy and at home there. This is the only nursery we have come across where the lovely staff has a big smile on their face at 8:00 am and same smile and enthusiasm at 6:00pm. This was so important to me. Kelly said to me you had the baby 9 months in your belly then a year of maternity and then you have to leave your baby with strangers, this nursery really gets it and gives our little humans all the love, confidence and care we wish for them. My little boy loves this place and when I ask him are you going to play with Carol. He has the biggest smile on his face and Carol is right, he can say her name now. I am so glad I visited this nursery and my little one is going to have amazing 4 years here.”

“Truly exceptional daycare - a game changer for us! K9 Adventures was recommended by our behaviourist as one of the best in the area, and they absolutely live up to that reputation. This is the first daycare where I've felt 100% comfortable and able to truly trust my dog's care. The difference they've made to Jeff is remarkable. He was destructive and frustrated at previous daycares, but the structured environment and enrichment activities here have transformed him. He's now so much more confident and content at home too. The team are incredibly professional with excellent communication and genuinely care about each dog's wellbeing. Without K9 Adventures, I wouldn't be able to meet my work commitments while ensuring Jeff gets the exercise and stimulation he needs. Quality daycare like this is so rare. The whole team are amazing and we're so grateful for everything they do. Couldn't recommend them highly enough!”

“My daughter loves going to this nursery. They always welcome her with the biggest smile and make her feel special every time. My daughter has learnt so much since being there for the last year or so. She has become more confident and her breath of vocabulary has most definitely widened because of their teaching. When she comes home she is always repeating songs they sing during circle time. “I initially moved my son from his first nursery (Monkey Puzzle in Uxbridge) as he just didnt enjoy going in and due to his speech delay he was unable to communicate his feelings but there were worries that he was being mistreated in that nursery as he would repeat phrases in a shouty manner that we would never use at home (why are you crying I'm here??? Be quiet! Go sit down now!) After deciding to move him to another nursery I attended Busy bees in person and shared my concerns with the assistant manager Sian who was at the main reception that particular day. She reassured me and arranged a tour of the nursery a few days later where myself, my husband and son were able to have a look around and we had a a lovely chat with Lauren in the preschool room about how a typical day in the nursery would be and how they monitor each childs progress again the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. After our visit our son was instantly warmed by the happy playful environment. He surprisingly settled within a week of attending. His speech, interaction and communication has all really come through as well as his attention. He has honestly been thriving here and although I'm sad he will be leaving the nursery to start school in September - I am ever so grateful for the staff especially Tammy for shaping up his academic journey from here ahead.”

“Our adventure with Monkey Music started a few years back when I was looking for something to do with my older daughter, that would be entertaining but educational same time. Right now all 3 of my children are attending the classes and I can't praised it enough. The classes are always fun but if you want to see a real benefits of Monkey Music I recommend that you attend it for as long as possible. After a while you will notice you child being more and more confident, getting to know all the songs and moves. You will be amazed how the classes develop your child speech (a case with one of my twins), memory, they will learn a lot of things about music as well as counting, colors, time, how to read music. They will learn about different instruments, how you play them, how do they sound like etc. each term there are new songs/activities.The staff is always very friendly and professional. And to sum it up it is even very educational for us - parents as I learned a lot about music myself :)”

“I am a 'mature' student who joined West London School of Guitar 3 years ago as a total beginner with a battered second hand electric guitar and no real idea of what I wanted to achieve. In that time, I've gone from learning simple chord progressions and melodies to playing classical pieces, learning a range of different and challenging techniques, sight reading and music theory and regular improvisation classes with other students (and acquiring a couple of new guitars en route!). We're also encouraged and given guidance to set ourselves goals on a regular basis and we work together to make these goals a reality. WLSoG wants all the students to be the best guitarists they can possibly be with an understanding of musical concepts as well as techniques. No stone is left un-turned on this route and students make great progress in a positive and friendly teaching environment. This is the best thing I've done in ages. I've grown in confidence as a guitar player and as a person - I can't recommend these classes highly enough.”

“I have two children at this school, one in Yr. 2 and the other just started Reception having attended the Nursery. Both of them throughly enjoy attending and learning in this environment and it constantly amazes me just how varied their knowledge has become. From day one (2years ago) when there were only 43 4 year olds, to this day of over 250 pupils, there has been a consistent and tenacious focus on delivering the best learning for all of its pupils. The leadership team are warm and welcoming, making themselves highly visible at the school gate and always willing to listen to parents' views or offer advice. They have set out a strong set of values and life skills which are positively reinforced across the school in a consistent way from class teacher to whole assembly. For some of these traits the children are asked to behave like a particular ' Learnasaur ' character such as the Tryasaurus who is always willing to try new things or a Sharadactyl who shares their learning resources. Both my kids have really engaged with this type of encouragement and it is commonplace to hear us talking about them at home. All the staff that have been recruited display a huge passion for delivering the best experience for the children, whether they're dinner ladies, site managers or have office roles. The teaching staff are great and display the same understated professionalism day in day out, they have embraced the opportunity this new school presents and are working well together to deliver a first class education. Mr Butler's musical influences have shown themselves many times over the last couple of years during assemblies and Nativity plays. My personal highlight was last years Year 1 performance which involved the whole year group, lasted over 40 mins and was incredible to watch, it was hard to believe we were watching 6 year olds as the performance level and engagement across the whole group was so strong and mature. Other highlights from last year included the children asking Boris Johnson some tough questions when he visited the school and the Pupils performing their 'Big Dance' at the summer fayre.”

“Mr Singhs review: If I would give 10 STARS I would ! Attended a Personal 1:1 open day with the Headteacher Mr Daniel Cowling on Fri 11th June 2021. He is doing a superlative job. Well beyond my expectations. A personal credit to him and his staff. Mr Cowling is highly respected by both staff AND students. - Facilities and Cleanliness of the school is unbelievable. - Brand new resources. - Students have their heads down in all of the classrooms i visited. - Equipment; formidable! All Apple computers and screens. - Well funded and beyond my comprehension. - Wonderful , open, spacious outdoor space. All sports. - Drama rooms excellent. - Main hall ; Mint. - Its a new school less than 7 years old and the buildings are pristine. - Staff extremely polite and attentive. My son attends a grammar school in Slough and this state school is far better !!! I didnt think I would be stating that. Ive even surprised myself. “My son went to Jigsaw nursery in Hatch end and he was very well looked after by Larissa, his key worker, and was more than ready for primary school when he left. Minal was also wonderful as she went above and beyond when she taught my son phonics, reading and counting - she was brilliant. The pastoral care at the nursery was outstanding due to the all the staff and the management team run by Susan. Highly recommend.”
