“Had a very nice lunch here today. It’s been a while since I’ve eaten here. Usually just visit for the garden centre, but my friend and I decided to eat whilst here. This is a great family run cafe/restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. We were seated quickly and served quickly, although it was fairly busy (and is normally packed out) I had the poached eggs with smashed avocado with an oat milk cappuccino. The coffee is very nice here too, probably the nicest I’ve had in a while. My friend had the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs and it looked delicious. All tasted fresh and came quickly too. Extra seating now for when it is very busy, which meant we didn’t have to wait for a table today. Lots of variety on the menu, and some of the other food being served up looked delicious too. Glad to see this place is still open and doing well. The staff here clearly work very hard to provide great food and service. Very reasonable prices too. Would recommend.”

“Over the years we have tried most things on their excellent menu and have loved everything! The bagettes,wraps and sandwiches are filled to the full with fresh tasty ingredients. The cafe has a friendly happy upbeat vibe with a varied menu for eating in or take away. The homemade cakes are really lovely and the large slice of cake is very fresh, moist and really good value. I've used the buffet service for parties, get together, funerals etc. The buffet is packed in covered dishes and everything is fresh and as tasty as the cafe menu and excellent value for money. “A lovely cafe in Romford with great food! The prices are reasonable and the staff are very kind. I’ve been here a few times and have never been disappointed. I usually get the full English breakfast with tea, and my boyfriend likes the chef special set 1. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, which is nice during the summer. The toilet is inside and was spotless. I would recommend!”

“The food was nice it always is. They phoned us in advance to tell us they had ran out of something, but we did go late. Dee who served us was very friendly with a smile, and helpful. Also what I thought was nice is they made me a dessert with Happy Birthday on the plate, when they found out on the day it was my Birthday. Elvita also was very good served us with a smile.”
