“Great hotel for stop over if traveling to ferries Eurostar. Always good for great staff and although yes it is old building so I don’t expect top notch rooms but they are kept spotless. Lots of free parking but remember to register when you arrive. They don’t do food or drink here but there is a bar next door that does and Nell’s cafe up road for amazing American themed breakfast”

“Another great meal at Bartellas. Love this place! We ordered some olives which were delicious and a generous portion and a bottle of Picpoul de Pinet which was excellent. I had a lunch of chicken saltimbocca with mushroom sauce and garlic potatoes, my friend had an amazing burger and we shared a side of spinach. We had tea and coffee afterwards. The staff are excellent as was the service and friendliness of our fabulous waitress, Vendi. Well done team!”

It was truly an evening to remember. From the moment we stepped inside, it was clear this wasn't just a meal, but an experience crafted with care. Julius Caesar strikes a perfect balance between sophisticated and incredibly welcoming. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, the atmosphere was warm and the toilets were very clean. Every dish that arrived at our table was a testament to authentic Italian cooking. The portions were generous, ensuring everyone left feeling satisfied but not uncomfortably full. What truly elevated the evening was the impeccable service. Our servers were incredibly attentive without being intrusive, anticipating our needs with a genuine smile. They were knowledgeable about the menu, and ensure our glasses were never empty. They handled our large group with effortless grace, making sure everyone was served promptly and that our pastor felt truly celebrated. So, whether it's a family celebration, an intimate dinner, or just a desire for some great Italian food, I would definitely recommend Julius Caesar Gravesend.”

“We stopped off here whilst travelling to Kent. I found the pub by searching dog friendly pubs on Google. We didn't book, we arrived on a busy Saturday lunchtime, and they had a table for me, my husband, and 2 dogs. The food was delicious! we both had burgers. “For work purposes, I've stayed on and off at this hotel for 28 years. Always found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotlessly clean and beds and bedding very comfortable. Food has never been anything but good and there's never been a problem pre-ordering whilst I visit the small gym. Access to the hotel is easy from the A2 but road noise is minimal and there's plenty of parking. My go to hotel when I'm working in this area - far better than a identikit chain.”
