“This Hotel/Pub was the perfect location for us. We were visiting a family member recovering from major surgery but also wanted to explore the area. We were not disappointed as Woking (cinema & Theatre) and the ‘Saturn Way’ were on our doorstep. As regards the hotel we were greeted by Lee who set a wonderful first impression. Nothing was too much trouble for him and the rest of the staff. The room had recently been refurbished to a high standard and was immaculately clean and comfortable. The pub itself had a wonderful relaxing atmosphere and the food was very tasty. Big thank you to Lee, Nessie and the rest of the staff for making our stay memorable. Free parking a big bonus.”

“Managed to miss the opening of this place due to the lockdown. Finally tried it recently and, have to say, the food is good. All components are fresh and it does actually taste like Ukrainian food should taste (quite a rare occasion in the UK). The lady is very nice and friendly as well. Recommended!”

“We visited The Clock House in May. Having never been whilst it was Drakes we were excited to see if it lived up to it's previous reputation. I can safely say it did - and we had a brilliant experience. It's a close shave between this restaurant and Stovells in Chobham for the title of most special restaurant we've visited in Surrey. Clock House may just take it - as not only is the food first class, so is the atmosphere, dining room and service. Looking forward to the next special occasion which might warrant a return here. Let's hope they achieve a Michelin star too - they deserve it.”

“We went for dinner and were very impressed with the experience. The restaurant itself is somewhat dated, but that’s not a criticism, it’s like walking back in time and the level of service reflects that. The waiters and all staff we dealt with were very kind and entertaining. The food, well, the food was sublime! I would recommend to anyone and we will be returning in a few weeks to try some other items on the menu! Fresh bread and butter on arrival was a nice touch, especially because the bread rolls were shaped like tiny loafs which was a nice touch!”

Staff is friendly and food is reasonably priced. Highly recommended this cafe in Woking. And this cafe is temporary closed from 2 March till September for renovations.”

“Not even joking, the food was AMAZING. The onion was so soft and crunchy and everything tasted so so fresh, the chicken , the kibbeh, the salad was AMAZING.The dessert was nice and sweet too. Not to mention the service was so so good and Bashara and Nelly were so sweet. I was with my 2 friends and they were so interactive and made good conversation and the atmosphere was comfortable and we honestly felt so welcome there. You should definitely go if you like Lebanese / Middle Eastern food or if you are Lebanese yourself , and missing that authentic taste because you will DEFINITELY find it there . The restaurant has been refurbished and the food was absolutely delicious, served on lovely hot new crockery. All 4 of us had something different and not a complaint/grumble about any of it.”

“I stopped by Bem Coffee recently, and it was an absolute gem of a cafe! I ordered a double espresso and a cappuccino. And both are exceptional. The double espresso was perfectly brewed- rich, bold, and smooth, with just the right amount of intensity to kickstart my day. The cappuccino was equally impressive! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and staff were warm, friendly, and attentive. I will definitely be returning whenever I’m in the area. Highly recommend!”
