“Yummy! Good vegan breakfast available, and dairy alternatives for coffee. Only issue is that it is quite cold inside the cafe as it feels like there is a door open at the back so quite draughty, food is great though!”

“Visited Giggling Squid - Chistlehurst for the first time today. This restaurant is beautiful and the decor is light and fresh. The food was very nice. We ordered starters of the crispy squid bits, north eastern papaya salad and money bag dumplings which were all very tasty. For mains, we ordered beef massaging curry with coconut rice and prawn pad thai all very delicious. The only criticism is the Thai Ice tea was on the smaller side and ok for taste. The service was nice and friendly. Also, slightly overpriced but food was very good. There is parking in bays right outside but it is charged within certain hours Monday to Saturday. Overall, I would definitely recommend and will be returning.”

“A delightful experience. Having previously visited for superb coffee and delicious pastries, I couldn't resist the opportunity to book when offered the opportunity to dine here for a summer special. The menu looked irresistible and did not disappoint! Very high attention to detail and beautiful presentation paved the way for a delicious culinary experience (menu attached). Owned and run by a lovely couple I cannot recommend highly enough this wonderful cafe and occasional restaurant. Every item is simply exquisite and I am so glad I booked. Every course was lovingly and delicately presented with pride in a super chilled and leisurely alfresco restaurant. Simply delightful and highly recommended.”

“This place is the Best place in and around Chislehurst, Trust Me! 100% The Breakfasts are absolutely spot on!! I have recently tried their roast dinners on various different days and Oh My God! “I have eaten here many times and it's always good. The salads are very large, tasty and filling. Wraps are huge! There is a lot of variety to choose from. Great chips. Definitely recommend. The kids menu is great too, not just the usual burger and chips, plenty of options. Makes a change from the chain restaurants in the high street.”

“Came for a quick drink, came here a few years ago and really liked it, still a great place. Went on a Sunday lunchtime, not the best time because it was packed. Didn't stay to eat but if you do want to then I recommend booking in advance if they take reservations. We sat outside which was fine since it was a nice day. Friendly, welcoming and helpful service from the gent behind the bar (possibly the manager/owner). Very family orientated feel to the place. Very cosy inside. Good choice of drinks at reasonable prices.”

“I didn’t have food but everyone food looked great. I enjoyed two espresso martinis at the bar and they were amazing, I asked for extra sweet and they did not disappoint. I’ve worked in hospitality all my life and struggle to find places that hits all the spots that I look for. This place definitely delivers on atmosphere and service.”

“Came in this morning and it was busy! I was served quickly. I informed the lovely Julie of my peanut allergy, she provided me with her undivided attention. Julie made me feel at ease placing my order. She let me know she would be washing the jug and gave me a full disclaimer. “I visited Costa Coffee in Chislehurst last Wednesday—had a great coffee and got some work done on my laptop. I've been here several times, and it’s always a calm, friendly place. One of my favorite spots in one of the nicest areas of London!”

“Very Friendly service and nice relaxing atmosphere with delicious food, dessert and drinks. Our table was regularly checked to see if everything was okay and everyone was very attentive even though the place got busy very quickly with many regular guests. We also met the owner and his wonderful wife who made sure they visited every table and greeted the guest to see if everything was ok… it’s wonderful to see how much they care and appreciate their guests. Definitely worth a Revisit and try the Gurkha 660ml Beer.”

“Wrattens Caffe is a true hidden gem of Chislehurst High Street. In fact, it is so well hidden at the back of a clothing shop (not a bad one either by the way!) that only a few locals are aware of its existence and visit regularly. I've been delighted being one of these few for years, but this morning, enjoying an amazing chicken and bacon melt toastie with some great coffee, I felt rather sad that your typically blunt and tired Costa next door was booming with visitors, while only a few tables were taken at homey and delicious Wrattens. So here you go, time for my best-kept secret to stop being one. Give yourself the most Chislehurst experience one can think of, visit Wrattens Caffe, have a chat with its loveliest staff, have a walk around the shop while you're waiting for your food to materialize on your table. All that knowing that every penny you leave there supports the community and its people, not Coca-Cola Corp. Why, didn't you know Costa belongs to Cokes? Well, now you do, so turn left on that doorstep, choose Wrattens next time you're around!”
