“Genuinely a really lovely experience at Reis Grill & Bar. Music not too loud, very nicely decorated, very lovely and attentive staff, and the food is to die for! The service was also very quick, but it wasn’t so quick that we felt rushed. I can honestly say it is one of the best restaurants I have been to. The only downside was that the food was so good I didn’t have any room for dessert! Thank you very much for a lovely evening.”

“If you're a fan of pizza, then Alforno Caffe in Ruislip should definitely be on your list of must-visit restaurants. The wood-fired pizzas here are truly exceptional, with a crispy crust and delicious toppings that will leave you wanting more. One of my favorite pizzas is the classic Margherita. The tomato sauce is rich and flavorful, and the mozzarella cheese is perfectly melted and gooey. For something a bit more adventurous you can try their sweet pizzas. The pizza menu at Alforno Caffe also includes vegetarian and vegan options, such as the delicious Mediterranean pizza topped with roasted vegetables and olives. The restaurant also offers gluten-free pizza bases for those with dietary restrictions. The pizzas are made using only the freshest ingredients, and the wood-fired oven ensures that each pizza is cooked to perfection. The restaurant's cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it the perfect spot for a casual meal with friends or family. Overall, Alforno Caffe is a must-visit for pizza lovers in Ruislip. Halal chicken available so make sure you try the delicious buffalo wings Finishing off our meal we really enjoyed their apple pie. The coffee here is amazing. True authentic Italian coffee and we enjoyed it with our lotus biscoff biscuit.”

“This has become one of my favourite neighbourhood spots. The atmosphere is warm and cosy- perfect for an evening catch-up or an easy mid-week dinner. The bacon risotto is absolutely delicious and easily one of the best dishes on the menu - creamy, comforting, and full of flavour. The starters could be a little stronger, but everything else more than makes up for it. The service is friendly and unhurried, and the overall vibe feels authentically Italian. A lovely local gem that always makes you feel welcome.”

“My favorite place with Indian cuisine! Garlic naan is amazing, I often ask for extra garlic and it's absolutely amazing! I always take Butter Chicken, full of spices and flavors, and the more spicy Chilli Paneer, and it's great! The portions are good, the prices are very affordable for such delicious food. I have never been disappointed by this restaurant and I visit this place regularly. If you haven't tried it, you must!”

“We were a group having lunch before a funeral at the crematorium. We were welcomed so genuinely by Lou who I assume runs the pub. Gorgeous outdoor seating area and the flowers are so well looked after. Lunch was simple but delicious which suited us perfectly. I’d highly recommend here and it’s a shame we don’t live close by.”

“I’ve been to Yana twice now. I took my son there to get his hair wash and blow dried as I was finding it difficult to manage. Yana was very welcoming and worked her magic. His hair has transformed. He had such a sore scalp previously and now he doesn’t feel a thing when I’m combing it! It’s a joy now. Thanks for all of your advice and knowledge you’ve given to the both of us to keep his hair beautiful x”

“The food and atmosphere was great. They even took the poo out the shrimp which is a win for me. The decor was pretty and aesthetic. We were served by victor he was lovely and very vibrant. The ‘pink fluffy drink’ was cute and packed a punch. The nachos share platter was very nice. The ‘mac melt’ is a delightful. The only bad thing i would say is the coleslaw was room temperature and tasted a bit old but it didn’t really make a difference.”

“This pub was once the place to come in Greenford. Lovely premises with enormous back garden and like a local pub is supposed to be as everybody knew everyone and newbies were welcomed and loved it. Due to later recent management, many of the locals left as it became the place NOT to be.....(we all miss you James). Like many others, I left for pastures new and found new pubs as the atmosphere was toxic at times. Popped in here a few weeks ago on a Saturday night to find this lovely pub almost empty which shocked and saddened me. The pub and the people here now are like it was way back then, friendly and welcoming however...... I know from talking to the people I know that the prices are a BIG problem..... For my particular tipple (Guinness) I can pay far,far less for a pint. This isn't central London, this is Greenford. Rumours about the owners wanting it to die and sell the land are a common theme. Marston, this place is a moneypot with some decent support. Stop the silly "offers" bull , lower your prices and bring this place up!”

“The Black Bull, our cherished local Irish pub, is a true hidden treasure that consistently exceeds expectations. With an enchanting atmosphere reminiscent of Ireland itself, it offers a genuine slice of Irish hospitality right in our neighborhood. What truly sets the Black Bull apart is its exceptional culinary offerings. The burgers are a revelation – bursting with flavor and succulence that leave you craving another bite. And then there are the nachos – a generous serving of pure delight with tantalizing toppings. Affordability is another feather in the Black Bull's cap. Its reasonable prices make it a go-to spot for both casual gatherings and special celebrations. The pub's expansive indoor and garden spaces ensure comfort even during peak hours. However, it's not only the delectable food and wallet-friendly prices that make the Black Bull a standout. The traditional Irish decor, warm seating, and welcoming staff create an ambiance that feels like a familiar embrace. Whether it's a casual meetup, family dinner, or winding down after a long day, the Black Bull offers an unforgettable atmosphere. Adding to the charm, the pub features captivating live music that elevates the experience to a whole new level. With foot-tapping tunes and soulful melodies, the Black Bull provides entertainment that resonates in your heart. Reflecting on my visits, one thing is clear – I'll undoubtedly be returning to the Black Bull. Its captivating atmosphere, lip-smacking burgers, heaping nachos, reasonable prices, ample space, and engaging live music make it an extraordinary establishment. The Black Bull isn't just a pub; it's a cherished haven that continues to beckon with its authenticity and allure.”

“We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The Indian food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The ambiance was warm and inviting, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Our waiter, Allen Rodriguez, was outstanding; very engaging, attentive, and knowledgeable. He helped us find great alternate choices and recommended dishes that turned out to be excellent. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. I purticularly reccomond lemon-salt soda for teetotallers.”
