“Many thanks to Ilaria for creating such wonderful experience! Today evening my best friend and I got to dine in here and we are simply delighted. Despite busy times we got our pizzas very quickly. Dough were fresh and crispy as always, purely Italian delicatessen and fantastic soft drinks. Ilaria was friendly and very attentive to our table, we felt welcomed and taken care of. What a wonderful evening, many thanks. We will be back soon for sure! Grazie mille!”

“I love this place. The food is just great pizza. For banging price. You don’t find this especially in this part of london no more. I almost cried. I got the margherita pizza for just under 6 quid. All pizzas are stone baked to perfection, thin crust just the way i like it. It’s simple. I loved the vibe too. I don’t think there is a single fault. See the photo for proof of how much i loved it”

“Pizza Union – Aldgate Review Pizza Union in Aldgate is one of those spots that nails the balance between quality, speed, and price. The first thing you notice is the atmosphere – industrial décor with a buzzy, informal vibe that makes it perfect for a quick bite with friends, family, or even before a night out. The pizzas themselves are thin-crust, Roman style, and cooked in just a couple of minutes in their giant stone ovens. The bases are crisp, light, and slightly charred, which gives every bite that authentic Italian feel. Toppings are generous but never over the top – fresh mozzarella, spicy nduja, smoky pepperoni, and plenty of veggie options too. If you fancy something different, their “Dolce” dessert pizza (Nutella, mascarpone, and biscuit crumbs) is worth saving space for. Price-wise, it’s hard to beat. Most pizzas are under £10, and you get full size, restaurant-quality food for what you’d pay for a takeaway. Drinks are self-service and affordable, and they also do cocktails and craft beers if you want to make an evening of it. Service is quick and efficient – order at the counter, grab your buzzer, and within five minutes your pizza is piping hot on the table. Staff are friendly but don’t hover, which fits the casual style perfectly. Overall: If you want fast, fresh, and affordable pizza in East London, Pizza Union Aldgate is a winner. It’s not fine dining, but that’s exactly the point – great food, great value, zero fuss.”

“If you are familiar with my predilication towards pizza, you knew there would be an obligatory London pizza taste test. I looked into a variety of pizza parlors, but nothing brings on more of a sense of hygge or warmth like a Neapolitan pizza. Luckily, there was one fairly close to us off Bankside in the Waterloo area. As we approached the restaurant we were blown away by the Waterloo area. This reminded me of trendy little inner city village. There are plenty of eating spots, the area felt safe, and Waterloo Station is here if you want to jet off to another part of London. As we approached Crust Bros we noticed that it was a full house. We put our name down, and with a 15min wait we decided to explore the area a little more. Also, they will take your phone number, put it in the system, and they text you that you are on the waiting list, and they will also text you when your table is ready. It did take slightly longer than the initial estimate of 15min, but this is because they were shutting down the patio seating and relied solely on the interior to slowly clear out. The exterior does has a lovely patio with good seating and great people watching. The interior definitely has a pizza parlor vibe with some contemporary aspects. For one, the pizza oven is shaped to look like a Lego chef head. The menu is not overly complicated. There is a core listing of tried and true pizza options, build your own options, starters, and salads. The drink menu is also relatively small, but has great choices like local brews, house wines, and Italian beer. Like most brick oven/wood fired pizza establishments, you won't have to wait long for your food. And each pizza comes out looking like the perfect little Neapolitan pizza. Some tips: Use the oil that they have placed on the table. This is a spicy infused olive oil. The flavor and heat is subtle, but it definitely adds to your eating experience. If you are looking to try the cocktails there is a "buy 2 for $12" option that will save you some money. These pizzas are not heaving like other pizza styles. If you are thinking of sharing but you are hungry, definitely consider getting your own pizza. You can always take it to you. Also, the Old Vic can is located here and can actually be seen from the patio of Crust Bros. If you get a chance, take in a show at this historic no-for-profit theater. While I have now officially tried some of the best pizza London has to offer, I may have to try another pizza spot... just to see if this is a one off, or if London really does knows their stuff! Cheers!!”

“This was one of the best pizzas I ever had - and I'm a pizza snob. We ordered a margarita (because you know a pizza place is good if they can do the simplest dish well) and the aubergine pizza, and both were amazing. I should have taken some pictures. The food prices are very reasonable. The also serve a decent selection of ales, which my husband likes, and my Aperol Spritz was just £7.50. Really friendly staff and quick service too! I will 100% be back. A lot.”

“Frederico made us a nice authentic thin crust pizza today. We tried the meat head pizza and we loved it. The shop was about to close when we turned up. And Frederico was kind enough to make us one last pizza of the day. The pizza place is Halal. Will definitely come another time to try a different combination custom made pizza for sure.”

“Delicious award winning pizza, didn’t disappoint. The pub has nice atmosphere and good service, and a little beer garden. The menu is varied with many vegan options too. Must check out the add ons section - it seems like it works out cheaper for some of the toppings this way. The salami pizza was superb - the crust was soft, chewy and had a good char flavour. The tomato and cheese and salami were very fresh and seasoned well. I think they may have forgotten our Parmesan cheese since I couldn’t taste and couldn’t see it, but still, this is among the best pizzas I’ve had in London and I will happily go back.”

“We visited Rust Bucket Pizza Co and were very impressed with the food. The pizza is some of the best I've tasted and had perfect air bubbles in the bread. We had a pizza with a burrata on it, what a treat, also a pepperoni which was delicious. The kids pizza was also very nice. The restaurant is in a covered outdoor area of the pub however the quality of pizza more than makes up for this. There is access to the pub and the pub garden with a play area. The play area and garden is only suitable for older toddlers+ due to being unkept. The service was reasonably good and the reception was very welcoming. If this setup was in a restaurant and not attached to a ropey pub I would have happily given it a five star rating.”

“Absolutely a hidden gem in London! Unlike the greasy sloppy pizzas at other takeaways, this chicken tikka pizza was freshly prepared Infront of me, and genuinely tastes way better than dominos and pizzahut. For £14, a 14" pizza is a steal.”
