“I’ve been here twice. The first time, I got the brisket sando with duke chips which was very yummy. The second time, I got the smash burger with the mac n cheese, which was yummy too! My family had the smoked brisket and the lamb neck. I tasted those too and they were delicious. The food looked exactly like what was shown on the menu and the portion sizes were generous! Sharon was lovely and very attentive and provided excellent customer service.”

“Just been here with 3 of my friends, we loved it, the atmosphere was great, the service was excellent and the food was amazing. And at the end of the meal they brought out these white tinny round things that turned into wet napkins once water was poured onto them, to wipe our hands, how cool that was. “We spent our Wednesday night at Black Horse eating the Kenyan Koroga. Best value curry I’ve had for years. The chef (Shamim )made our food exactly as we described and could see all the ingredients he used. It took approx 45 mins and included rice and naans. Ania and the team really looked after us on the build up and throughout, with great communication via email and in person. We added some dishes to the set menu and the team were so attentive bringing in the food and serving our friends and family. Luckily, they do a solid Sunday roast so we’re often back for a visit!”

“We wanted a vegan breakfast - and they do one here. It's £2.50!!! Tell me, what meal can you get served on a plate that costs £2.50??? And you know what, it was pretty good. We sat outside on the lovely garden, enjoying the sunshine. The staff are so nice and friendly, you'd think they are getting paid a lot more than min -wage. I'm not sure if they are. Leave a tip...”
