“This little gem was an amazing find Hosted a Baby Shower here on Saturday and cannot express how accommodating The staff were. Dan was very flexible and encouraged us to decorate, provide a playlist that he played through the function room sound system, he allowed us to go in early before the booking to decorate too. There is plenty room for a sit down occasion or a full disco/dj party. A back door leads out to the garden and a separate area too. The room has plenty of sockets and a bar, buffet food is an option too. Had an amazing time and everyone complimented on the venue and how quaint, country-feel yet quirky it was. Perfect, Thank you !”

“I recently held a wake for my late mother at The Queen’s Head, and I cannot praise the team enough. From start to finish, the staff were incredibly attentive, compassionate, and professional. They truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly during such an emotional time. The food was outstanding—beautifully presented, full of flavour, and served in generous portions. There was a fantastic variety, and it was all so well received by our guests—it disappeared in no time! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff made everyone feel comfortable and cared for. I wholeheartedly recommend The Queen’s Head to anyone looking for a venue to host a wake or any special gathering. “Wow.... Just 11 minutes from ordering online via their website to receiving a knock on the front door. Genuinely surprised when I heard the knock as the drive takes 2 minutes minimum. Vegan wings were decent as well.”
