“My partner and I visited this lovely cafe. He ordered a delicious smoothie which he thoroughly enjoyed and the jacket potatoes we both had were very tasty. “A gem of a place, we received a lovely warm welcome and were made to feel at home by the generous owner. Thank you! We enjoyed our tea and baklava, which was just the right level of sweetness, not overpowering at all. The ambience included a gentle buzz of conversation and was very relaxed. “We’ve been in the winter, where the best place to sit is inside by the fire; Spring, where the conservatory is nice, and now outside in the summer. My kids love the mac n cheese- and it’s proper home made food with real ingredients. I had a delicious salad with roasted beetroot and fennel, adding on halloumi cheese. Always so much fun to watch the flying lessons with my girls.”

“Indulged in a slice of their chocolate layered cake, and it was every bit as delicious as it looked. The cake was rich, dense, and incredibly moist. While the price of £4.50 per slice is higher than other local cake shops, it's definitely worth it. A suggestion for improvement would be to have a clear price display for all items, ensuring customers are fully informed before purchasing.”

“I have recently started going to café chai and what a great new halal café in Thornton heath. Long overdue wait for a decent café in my local area. This is my new go to place for my breakfast! I ordered a full English with a hot chocolate! Tariq is very welcoming and can accommodate to what you want to eat for those fussy eaters! I definitely recommend going there and I will be bringing more customers to him! It’s a must try café. Service and food are really good. Here’s a insta worthy pic of my full English too!”

“One of the best hot chocolates I’ve had in awhile!! Popular location but less known cafe in the crypt, would add to the bucket list! I know they host events here also! Many chairs and tables and surprisingly natural lighting ☺️ would recommend for a drink and a cool place to relax from the buzz of the above world!”

“I organised a get together for a friends birthday on Saturday 17th June for 18 of us and reserved an area for us all. My friend was very pleased with the area reserved for us right next to the dance floor the bar staff were very friendly and the staff were always checking to see if everything was ok even down to the security who were very chatty and polite. Great range of beers and especially the cocktails would recommend this place and the music was a mixture of all decades to accommodate all ages. Thanks for a great night”

“Went to the bottomless pasta making class, and my gosh, had the best time, the hosts were so welcoming and friendly, everything was super clean, and the class itself was very informative but fun. Can't believe how easy pasta making is. Anyway it inspired me to make my own ravioli. Thank you so much, I will be highly recomending this class to all my friends and clients.”

“Make a detour from the M4 to London to visit this lovely coffee shop. Great coffee and service. Also v dog friendly. Haven’t tried any of the pies but they all look delicious. Such a great little place and so much nicer than stopping at Reading services or Heston. The owner is consistently friendly and welcoming and I’ve always found somewhere to park in the car park outside”
