“I don’t know how this place doesn’t have more reviews because this place is amazing. They have amazing service very kind and welcoming. I travel from the US and I probably would say this is the best service I’ve ever received and I eat out a lot. I recommend the biryani and their Peri Peri chicken is so good. I promise you will not be disappointed. This will be one of my go to places going forward God willing.”

“It was my first time dining at Restaurant Albina, I loved how authentic the restaurant was inside and how cosy it felt. I was greeted by the waitress who was very friendly and helped me with the menu as I couldn’t decide from all the tasty options! I ended up having the chicken/pasta soup with a warm bread bun. The soup was delicious, a clear broth with lots of flavour - and I loved how light but filling it was. The bun was the perfect add on. For dessert I had the cherry dumplings - I will definitely be coming back for those! Overall I had a really great meal, the food and atmosphere is very comforting and gives a lovely family/friendly vibe. Thank you Albina for a wonderful meal! I will definitely be returning!”

“Just had lunch and wow — the food was so good! The mix grill was perfectly cooked, super juicy, and full of flavor. You could tell it was fresh off the grill with that perfect smoky taste. The Charsi Chicken Karahi was another standout — spicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The chicken was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the sauce was so delicious that we couldn’t resist dipping the naan into every last bit. The service was warm and welcoming. “I came here as an emergency when I found my prepared meal at my lodgings had been taken (another story..). The food quality and quantity were a pleasant surprise, with very helpful, friendly staff. To top the experience off they were also showing the Champions League semi final - great atmosphere.”

“Bought their cheapest set breakfast for £6.50. It came with fried bread but I was asked if I wanted to swap it for toast so I thought that was good customer service but I declined. Nice big, tasty coffee. Sausage could have been a bit more 'meaty'. Cooked to order. New photo added in July 2024.”

“If you are craving a Turkish takeaway, trust me when I say, Efes is the place to order and nowhere else! You can trust this place for quality with your eyes closed. I have been ordering for years and it is consistently great. I am never disappointed. I ordered my favourite lamb ribs, you get 7 chunky pieces, they were fresh, meaty, well seasoned and cooked perfectly on the grill. Served with delicious Turkish rice done as it should be, the most delicious homemade chilli sauce which I love so much ( I must say my only complaint is that they don’t give enough of it, its too small for the meal). You also get a grilled pepper and tomato, garlic sauce, lovely bread and salad. The portion is generous and served piping hot. I just love Efes. When you think Turkish food think Efes ❤️”

The beef was tender, packed with flavour, and the noodles were perfectly cooked — not greasy, just full of rich, savoury goodness. And the chicken balls? Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, with a golden batter that was spot on. You can tell they use quality ingredients and care about what they’re serving. This place is a hidden gem — I’ll definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend!”

“I had an amazing experience at this Nigerian restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — rich, flavorful, and cooked with so much authenticity. I had Abula and it tasted like home. I could tell the ingredients were fresh, and the portions were generous. They could do a little more with the restaurant, some clean up and repairs but the staff made me feel right at home. If you’re looking for the best Nigerian food, this is definitely the spot. Highly recommend!”

“I ordered through Uber, the food was immaculate! We ordered the buy one get one free ‘hot one burger’ with American fries and cheesy jalapeño, came to around £22. I love spicy food and the burger was just perfect! My burger looked like the picture they have on the menu. Fully satisfied with the flavours, worth every single penny. “From the receptionist taken of order to the delivery of the meals in relatively hot conditions considering the distance travelled were first class services. The shredded chicken chow mein,the BBQ spare, and the king prawn fried rice were full of aroma and tasted so delicious. This restaurant is our newfound first to ring when it comes to the Chinese restaurant option. I must say that the delivery person was such a lovely aged man, full of friendly face patient,energetic,and a gentle voice. Respect. Thanks to the chef. Keep the cooking arts vibrant.”
