“This was honestly a six-star meal. Between the four of us, we had a chai latte, English breakfast tea, pistachio macaron, brownie, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream - all for less than £15. Since we were eating in, the macaron came with lovely cream and raspberry jam decorations underneath that went great with the macaron as well. The brownie was not bitter at all and the tea was fragrant but the highlight of our meal was the homemade vanilla ice cream, which was creamy, filled with vanilla seeds and honestly the best ice cream I’ve ever had. Overall, this was an amazing experience and even though this place has 4.9 stars on Google Maps, I still think it deserves a higher rating.”

Staff were lovely and friendly, coffee was gorgeous - had an oat cappuccino, smooth and lovely coffee flavour. Plus a citrus cake which was also super tasty. “Little gem on Fulham Palace Road! This is an independent café offering great speciality coffee (the owner, Chris, specialises in latte art and has created an extensive menu of coffee and non-coffee items, including great iced options). Its unique feature is to match the coffee offer with authentic Filipino cuisine which is made fresh on site every day. I tried the food on several occasions and I was always extremely satisfied with it! It’s great to be able to explore a different culinary culture, while sipping speciality coffee all along! Keep up with the great work guys!!!”

    Freedom Caffe' Tearoom

“I've only ever driven through Cheam before my visit yesterday, a trip by public transport (tram and train) from Croydon specifically to visit the Whitehall museum, housed in a grade II* listed former domestic dwelling dating from before the reign of Henry VIII. While the museum is an important place of reference for local history, geared more towards children than adults, it also houses the excellent Freedom Caffe' tearoom. The restrictions imposed by such an old, historic house may mean they can't use a normal commercial coffee machine but the range of soft drinks is impressive and more importantly, the vegan options for lunch are delicious. I highly recommend both the vegan sausage roll with salad and the vegan Greek. Then there are the cakes... The only vegan option on the day was a chocolate pear and apple cake but it was gorgeous and the staff were attentive and friendly and the food reasonably priced. I also noted the fresh pasta preparation. There's more to Cheam than the museum but whatever else you're doing it's well worth making sure you visit the Freedom Caffe' for a drink and a bite to eat.”

Can't believe how easy pasta making is. Anyway it inspired me to make my own ravioli. Thank you so much, I will be highly recomending this class to all my friends and clients.”
