“I strongly recommend you visit this jewel of a restaurant in Willesden Green. Great Italian food made from scratch. Fresh pasta, freshly made pizzas, home made soups, bread straight out of the oven, great coffee and tea, lovely cocktails, beautiful desserts all lovingly and creatively thought out. This is true of the decor as well as the food. The owners are kind and genuinely interested in the requirements of their customers be they families, birthday groups, party bookings or solitary diners. I also enjoy the music and black and white movies on the screen. A truly artistic enterprise.”

“Santa Maria pizzeria is a great little Italian, overall providing great food at a great price for its location. Santa Maria is a little Italian pizzeria with relatively limited seating, but a great atmosphere and even better food. We tried both starter and mains, including the gluten free dough! Both starter and main were truly Italian, and extremely tasty. Dough was crisp, not burned and wood fired in their pizza oven. The price was very good at £12-14 for a pizza. They cater very well for those with gluten intolerance and allergies, being able to swap any bread / dough for gluten free. The gluten free food was also of excellent quality and taste - sometimes it's very obvious food is gluten free. Overall a great experience, 2x starters, 2x mains and 4x beers coming to £70 in an expensive part of town - well worth a visit.”

“I’ve ordered from the folks many many times, I always recommend the food to anyone who wants the best sushi that you can get. The food is immaculate and very well priced, everything is made fresh to order with incredibly high quality ingredients and they will make any alterations you ask for (I like to switch up sauces and I remove all avocado and they’ve never had an issue). I’ve met the owner and his daughter and they are wonderful people so it’s not just great food, it’s money going to great people!!! Making sushi is an art and they have truly mastered it, the rice is always perfectly cooked and seasoned, the meat/fish is always fresh and the perfect temperature, the seaweed is never soggy and they always provide plenty of soy sauce, wasabi and chopsticks. Give these guys your Business, I promise you won’t regret it. To the wonderful owner- thank you so much for always being so sweet and making the most incredible food, you are truly an artist and i wish you and your daughter the best future possible! The only downside would be the limited seating. However, this minor inconvenience is easily remedied by opting for takeout as enjoying their delicious food on the move would be easy enough. Often times it’s the rice that sets apart the average sushi (like Taro) from the good, like Sushi Show.
