“Great food , excellent quality best tasting breakfast I had cooked to perfection”
“This place is very unassuming from the outside but is actually great. Great for both takeaway lunch & to dine in. The staff are always great. The food is fresh, tasty, prepared quickly. Highly recommend & I am a frequent customer.”
“Cote in Esher is our go-to for a quality meal and great atmosphere. We've been going for over a decade. Imagine our surprise when we were waited on by Vanessa. She was an absolute delight! So helpful, so attentive, so lovely - in every way. Thank you Vanessa, for making our meal in Esher even more memorable.”
“I had a great experience at this great pub located just off Esher high street. I had great communication from Liam to confirm my booking of 20 guys. He arranged a room for us upstairs, took table service for lunch and we were so well cared for by Sam. He was very attentive to us. The whole group had great things to say about their food. An excellent pub for a Sunday roast.”
“very good food and good price and good service, very welcoming”
“The community rebuilt this park cafe and it is an excellent facility enjoyed by everyone who uses the park and Claygate Primary School. On a sunny weekend you will see many groups and families playing games, having fun, eating ice creams, with drinks etc. Food gets 4 stars only because it is not Michelin starred.”
“My face feels so rejuvenated, soft and fresh. All the tension has visibly gone, so relaxing. Really useful advise too. Thank you Stephanie, an excellent Platinum facial.”
“Stopped here this morning while going on a bike ride and have to say I had probably the best hot chocolate I have ever had. The lady who served me was very nice too. Will be stopping here again”
“The staff were very friendly and helpful. I learnt to ski as a beginner many years ago here. It's a great place to revise skiing skills in preparation for a holiday. There is a beginner and advanced slope. I think that the recreational skiing rate is very reasonable. The facilities do look a bit tired but they're functional and work! I liked the fact that they had an electronic calendar which meant you could change your booking last minute.”
“Great mocha and vegan mozzarella and tomato panini!!! The cheese was so good in it - like the real thing. My second visit and would definitely come back again. Even more vegan options would be amazing, eg. cakes. Staff member was a bit quiet”
“We went there for Xmas dinner. The prawns were floating in a sea of oil. Avoid The sea bass was cooked perfectly We sat outside under heated cover but it was still quite cold”
“Parsnip soup best I’ve had for years .. great coffee and Dads wrap was lovely . Would definitely visit again .”
“My wife, my son and I visited The Wheatsheaf to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The food and service were excellent. I had turkey and the amount of meat was a lot more than I expected. I would also recommend the Camembert sharing plate which we had as a starter. It was a little loud for my taste but it was pre-Christmas and there was a large group near us that were celebrating a little loudly. Amount spent below includes drinks and gratuity.”
“My goodness this restaurant is incredible and delicious! We had a big party of 8 people and service was remarkable. Beautiful atmosphere and wide variety of menu options and lots of gluten free options! Alex took such great care of all of us and went out of his way to make sure all of my dishes were celiac friendly! I highly recommend this spot. The Patatas Bravas were particularly delicious! Thank you Alex!”
“Recently refurbished village pub and hotel. Great new menu, friendly staff, brilliant playlist, surprisingly superb Amaretto Sours! And even a great spot for a morning coffee after your dog walk. The doggy delights station is a favourite for four legged friends.”
“Debbie provided us with a delicious afternoon tea following a family funeral. Everything was freshly made and delivered perfectly on time. Our guests had nothing but praise for the food, including a great selection of sandwiches, canapes, including mini quiches and vol-au-vents, cakes, scones and fresh fruit tarts. The mini Cornish pasties, still warm from the oven, disappeared within minutes! Thank you so much Debbie. Sally and Kevin Doyle”
“I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Cintia, Tilla, Tracey and all the other staff are amazing!! Always so kind, and happy to help make my experience as good as possible! The place is always clean, even when it’s super busy and they haven’t got as much time to keep it so. 10/10 my favourite place to get coffee!”
“I was looking for somewhere local for a traditional Sunday roast and I am pleased that I chose the Marquis. Food and drink were excellent. The service by Isabel was first class. Recommended.”
