She is, without a doubt, the most active and in-person KSU staff member I’ve encountered, always visible and approachable on campus. “I am a new retiree and have recently become a volunteer at Barnfield Riding for Disabled/Riding School. I didn’t know what to expect …but the kindness and expert care shown to the horses and clients is exactly what I hoped. At age 66..and having not ridden for many many years..I have been inspired by the staff here to soon start my own riding lessons and aim to get back in the saddle…something I never thought I would ever do. I unreservedly recommend. (maybe anyone reading this might consider volunteering too?)”

“My friend was not feeling well and fainted in the store and the staff were so helpful. Specifically Jameel, Selena and Maria who work in H&M. They were kind and thoughtful, keeping her company and ensuring that she was safe. You have a wonderful team that are doing a great job! Also the bentall centre staff Chelsea and Jordan were incredibly helpful. She is doing much better now and we appreciate all of the assistance.”

“Like so many of our National Health Services they are extremely busy, as the demands for treatment have increased dramatically over the last few years. I had a wonderful experience here at the Royal Eye unit in Kingston and we are very fortunate to have this service in the area. The receptionist was cheerful and helpful every member of staff I saw was personable, friendly and informative. I feel very happy with the service I received here. Coming into the unit with a focus on being positive in my interactions with other people helped I think. You do need to be patient — I brought an audio book to listen to. The technology we all benefit from is fantastic.”

“We love this nursery. Our two boys have been going here since October 2023 and they enjoy it very much. The staff turnover is minimal and the teachers are lovely, professional and kind. The bigger nursery chain they went to before was much more expensive, the teachers changed constantly and our older one was reluctant to go in. We have none of those issues here and are very happy with our nursery choice. The nursery manager Claire is also very nice to deal with. There are two 197 nurseries close to each other and our boys go to the bigger one across from Alexandra school. As an example of the level of care, there was major train disruptions recently and we couldn’t get home to pick the boys up on time. The teachers stayed with them until almost 8pm and didn’t even complain when we finally got there. The have very reliable and attentive staff here.”
