“I had a meal here with my family, we have been here before but I am reviewing our latest visit. We had wonderful tasting food, great service, at a reasonable price. We had Tikka masala, chicken Pasanda, mushroom Bhaji and mushroom rice, there were other dishes in our party, but we all agreed that the food was hot and very tasty. We had an issue with the draft beer, but the staff changed it for bottled beer with no problem. A great little restaurant.”

The menu is slightly different from classic Indian takeaway, but they have some great dishes you can't get elsewhere, and they'll adjust dishes on request. “This restaurant is an absolute gem, with authentic Calabrian food on offer in a fantastic atmosphere, with warm, friendly, and excellent service. The food is competitively priced with other restaurants in the area, but the portions are generous, with a wonderful menu that will have you struggling to make a choice quickly, and quality is unrivalled! Expect to pay around £30 per head with drinks, which was, in my opinion, excellent value. I wouldn’t only recommend this restaurant, but advise anyone in, or visiting Filey to enjoy a dining experience here! Fantastic!!”

“Amazing food and service. I stayed at the hotel with my daughter and we tried the bar restaurant for dinner. The lamb curry was one of the best I have had. My daughter loved her burger which looked great too. Definitely recommend finding.. not sure what the other people reviewing were looking for but you just have to come into the hotel and ask for the restaurant”

“I recently had the opportunity to try a burger and fries from Smash Hut, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed. The burger was cooked to perfection with a juicy patty and all the toppings I love - lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and a special sauce. The bun was soft and held everything together perfectly. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and were seasoned just right. Not only was the food delicious, with a perfectly cooked patty and all my favorite toppings, but the pricing was great as well. The burger and fries were affordably priced and a great value for the quality of the meal. I would definitely recommend giving this burger and fries a try - you won't be disappointed! I will be back a lot!!!”

“Small, very casual spot. I had the duck bao combo plate, which includes green salad and sweet potato fries. Service was prompt, food was delicious. Cafe conveniently located few minutes walk from Uxbridge Tube station.”

“I’ve been here twice. The first time, I got the brisket sando with duke chips which was very yummy. The second time, I got the smash burger with the mac n cheese, which was yummy too! My family had the smoked brisket and the lamb neck. I tasted those too and they were delicious. The food looked exactly like what was shown on the menu and the portion sizes were generous! Sharon was lovely and very attentive and provided excellent customer service.”

“Was in Uxbridge for an evening and after looking through various places, I came across this gem of a restaurant. Read through some of the reviews and decided to give it a try and wow the QUALITY of the food is top notch. Ordered spring rolls which had a heavenly taste to them, chicken tawouk with rice which was cooked to perfection with the chicken so soft and succulent and had a side of cheesy fries which were the best cheesy chips I've ever had. On top of all that, the two waitresses serving us were very warm and welcoming. 5 stars all round.”

“Firstly I'd like to mention Shakshi. She is an absolute gem and lovely person. Since we've being dinning at Social Dhaba, which is now several years, she's been there and is an asset to the establishment. Her level of service, warmth and attention to detail is exemplar and makes our experience so much better. The food here is always on point. Perfectly balanced flavours and ever never had a dish that we've not enjoyed. We get a real variety of dishes from the menu, including the mix grill, salmon, basil paneer, avocado chat, garlic prawns, tardka dhal and some naans and breads. However, the best dish has to be the Handi Chicken curry. It's just amazing and a defo must. From the desserts, you have a selection of the classics, all of them fantastic so you can't go wrong. This place is regular for me and is always a place I recommend to others and take family and friend's to when in need for a really good Indian.”
