“One of the most wonderful meals i’ve ever eaten- i felt like i was back in Italy. Everything I ate was sublime, so rich in flavor and such large portions for the price. You must get the parmiggiana di melanzane!!! I will be dreaming about this. Both the wine and the melon shots were also divine. The atmosphere is warm and beautiful, with an absolutely gorgeous secret garden in the back. The staff- an italian family from Bologna- were so friendly and attentive. They gave me a tour of the entire restaurant, gave me great recommendations and talked me through all of their dishes. Would go back in an instant. 100/10”

“Booked a table last minute at The French Table and they manage to accommodate us for a colleagues birthday , from start to finish everything was merticulous. Great ambiance and the place is not overcrowded with many tables, they have 2 floors but the place is not too big. I asked for extras to be added on our table and in under 30 minutes they delivered. We had personalised menues with colleagues name on it. Everything i asked for, they delivered. Would definately visit again. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a Michelin type of a restaurant. Tasting menus, wine paring, good food, everything is just so done to perfection, the staff are so friendly.”

“I've lived in carshalton for 20 years and never been to this place for pizza? what a mistake! A beautiful authentic pizza, my only flaw would be next time I'll collect at the crisp from the base had gone.”

“Never tried schnitzel food first time went to this restaurant n truly loved The sizzling Hawain the best in love juicy crispy overload, and the Mushroom Arancini is a delicious mix of crispy and creamy - a golden shell with a rich, earthy mushroom risotto centre. The schnitzel comes out perfectly golden-lightly breaded, tender inside, and seasoned just right. No greasy heaviness, just I at classic crackle when you cut into it. Love the ambiance the staff were very friendly felt relaxed and enjoyed the evening here”

“This is my favourite place in London, a true GEM. Beb and Fernanda are the warmest, kindest people, and they truly just want you to have fun. I have been for 2 birthdays recently, and they make it so special. Also, the food is DELISH, properly homemade yummy curry and lots of it. A place of pure joy!!!”

“I am so pleased to have stumbled upon Verderame last night - if people knew how special this place is it would be fully booked for in advance. The food is simply exquisite - beautifully presented, authentic and packed with flavour - Verderame have found the perfect balance of keeping it simple while making it really special. We chose the trio of bruschetta, the fillette tartare, a dish from the special menu (which was sublime!), homemade gnocchi with perfect pesto and clams, lobster tagliolini, and took a pistachio tiramisu home with us. The wine list made it hard to choose - we settled on a very palatable Valpolicella. The restaurant is a family affair and they do it perfectly - attentive, personable and charming! “Our first visit with grandsons this evening and we wasn’t disappointed. Amazing freshly cooked food. Between us we had Risotto, Cannelonni, Pizzas, fries and a side of salad that was so big it was easily enough for 4 people. Everything we had was exceptional, staff lovely and the owner/chef came out and spoke to us making sure we were happy with our meal. They also make a great Espresso Martini, best I’ve had. Our grandsons loved it all too and said it felt like we were in Italy. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant and we’ll be returning again soon. Thank you Nino and your team”

“We booked this place sight unseen for a local reunion for 12 people. The owner couldn't have been more accommodating and gave discreet but friendly service even though we were all busy catching up with 30+ years of news. The food was good and catered well for vegans and vegetarians, as well as meat eaters, although a couple of the dishes were a little oversalted. Was also accessible to people with disabilities. We stayed for five hours and felt very welcome for the whole time. Recommended. Thank you Bistro Corner!”

“We availed of their Bottomless Brunch deal and it was simply marvellous! Food is of the utmost highest quality and not entirely what you’d expect when people say buffet. Their sashimi were very fresh and all their portions were huge! All of their staff were also very warm and attentive with one in particular - this lady named Nicole - who basically anticipated and intuited our every need. Overall, wonderful experience!!!”

“Excellent experience, loved the food. Had the salmon delight breakfast, it tasted wonderful and I would highly recommend it. I especially enjoyed the various cut fruits which came with the breakfast. It made the breakfast more wholesome, healthy, and enjoyable. Only thing I would suggest is the pancakes were not my favourite, maybe it didn't have much sugar in the flour mix. Don't know if that's a positive or negative thing, healthy Vs tasty. Maybe some would have a different experience with the pancakes. Also, don't need to decorate the breakfast with flowers etc, the food was excellent already so it doesn't add much apart from maybe cost to the restaurant. Overall, excellent food, lovely staff, cozy vibe, wonderful experience, would come back and highly recommend.”

“Lovely neighborhood restaurant with a great outside space to extend the number of tables. My husband makes the best risotto, but honestly I was blown away by how good the risotto was here. So much so that I mentioned it to the chef as we left. We will be back!”

“Wonderful restaurant, beautifully designed although smaller than expected. It was fully booked on a random Wednesday so I think soon they’ll need a bigger restaurant or another restaurant because it is a hit and so you need to book in advance. The food is incredible, the carabinero prawns were so flavoursome and juicy, the meat platter was amazing, serves at least 4 so I think very good value. Even chips were really nice and crispy, Seabass was fresh, everything was delicious with really good portion sizes. I will certainly be returning.”

From the very first visit to my most recent one, the food has never once disappointed. It’s always fresh, flavourful, and perfectly prepared – consistently amazing every single time. What truly sets Wok N Roll apart, though, is the impeccable service. Every visit feels personal, warm, and welcoming. A special mention has to go to Masum, who always goes above and beyond to make sure we’re comfortable and happy. No request is ever too much – he’s attentive, friendly, and has a natural way of making guests feel genuinely valued. Whether it's a quick dinner or a relaxed evening out, the team makes every experience a great one. The service is as consistent as the food – top-tier, every time. I regret not taking photos of the food during my last visit, but I do have from a previous one that captures of the restaurant. Honestly, though, it’s the kind of place you need to try for yourself to really appreciate. “I have had many bred shed burgers and breakfast muffins in my time. What can I say, always banging food. I always visit when I'm in the area. Chicken burgers are definitely my favourite. Onion jam with sausage muffin is all must. Yes, a little pricey but quality for sure. Thanks Ben”
