“Fantastic food, warm and attentive staff. Every item we ordered was a delight. Staff went out of their way to accommodate us and make us feel comfortable and welcomed. You could tell that other diners loved this place too as there were smiles all around and lots of empty plates. This is delicious, perfectly seasoned Caribbean food made with fresh ingredients that you taste in every bite. Portions are good here too. Service was quick and everything was so well-presented. Divine rum cocktails here too. I had been seeking a local and authentic Caribbean restaurant for a while and now I will be visiting often.”

“Sacred has incredible gins, vermouths, and bottled cocktails which truly express the delicate nature their botanicals through the vacuum distillation process. My favorites are the Cardamom and Coriander Gins (and bottled Negroni!) though all of their products are fantastic. The delicate complexities of the gins make them not only work as stand-alone sippers, but also as ways to level-up cocktail recipes. The same can be said for the vermouths, which are quite unique. Additionally, the shop is a fun experience in and of itself, offering a curated set of sought-after whisk(e)ys, mezcals, wines, liqueurs, and other cocktail ingredients. Don’t miss this place!”

“Fantastic concept. Essentially an artisan off-licence which also operates as a bar. It’s stylish, friendly, spacious and stocked with a great range of homemade bottled cocktails and home brand gins in different sizes. We bought a small bottle of the grapefruit gin and he served it with some Mediterranean Fevertree Tonic, garnished with a grapefruit slice. He also sells some locally sourced antipasti options which looked fabulous.”

“We wanted to taste some wines to select for our wedding and were unfortunately unable to make any of the special wedding tasting sessions but Jess at Majestic Beckenham went out of her way to be accommodating. We had a little tasting session at the weekend where she had already selected wines she thought we’d like based on what we’d told her. She guided us through the different wine options, advised us on quantities to purchase and was just generally fantastic. Amazing service especially as we weren’t even ordering the wine through the Beckenham store as our wedding is in Leicester (we also had great service when we called to place the order with the Leicester store). I would highly recommend majestic if you’re looking to bulk buy wine for an event and want some guidance. Thanks again to Jess!”

“The owner was a very sweet lady who was friendly and hard working. The food was delicious, the right amount of spice and aromatics. The fried plantain, fish cakes and festival weren't greasy. I recommend the Guinness punch, it tasted like an alcohol oreo shake. It was delicious!”

“Fantastic place to acquire your favourite beverages. The trio of men who work there are all extremely polite. It's reminiscent of a time when customer service actually existed in retail stores in the UK. The young man will greet you on entry without fail making you feel welcomed immediately as soon as ones foot crosses the threshold of their abode. The older gentlemen is extremely friendly and helpful, always up for a quick chat. The slightly more senior younger man is also incredibly polite, will always ask if you need a bag and one time I was sold an expired vape (2 days expired). The man before the vape had entered my pocket had a look at it, and immediately refunded me. A great attention to detail. I cannot fathom someone not having a great experience at this establishment.”

“Nice and welcoming on my first visit to the Havana house shop and lounge . I asked a lot of questions and was given very expert advise. I enjoyed the cigar I was recommended and to go into the lounge for a relaxing smoke and a coffee, was perfect. On the whole great cigars and customer service.”
