“My little one and I have just completed the Baby Development course run by Frances. As a new mum it's quite nerve-wracking trying a baby sensory class wondering whether it's the right one for you and your baby, and having tried a few it's safe to say that we have found the perfect class for me and my baby. The classes have been quite small and intimate which has allowed us to get to know Frances well, as well as interact with other new mums. She is really invested in all the babies and parents that attend her session. We love her sessions, have learnt baby massage skills which I still use on my baby every evening as part of his bed time routine as well as some of the sign language and songs. We can't wait for discovery tots which is the next level up from baby development.”

“I’ve had conversations on the phone and in person with a number of different staff since my daughter has started full time in Nov 2024. I have been really impressed with them all and the quality of communication I’ve received. It’s always so hard leaving your baby with strangers and I speak from experience of 3 different well-established nurseries (2 of which were rated Outstanding by Ofsted) that my elder child had been at. The experience so far with Boys & Girls Croxley has been really good. The updates via the Blossom app are prompt throughout the day helping me keep up with my daughter’s experience and reassuring me about her wellbeing. The photos and well thought-out daily activities cover a real breadth of topics and developmental opportunities and I’m seeing the positive changes in her as a result. When she has been unfortunate enough to have little accidents or difficulty falling asleep or being upset, the staff have kept me informed and personalised their response to her by calling and making me aware of all the things they have tried and asking if there is anything else they might be able to do to help her feel more comfortable. She has settled in really well and I would highly recommend this nursery to Others based on my experience so far.”

“As a mother, I can wholeheartedly say that KidsLab is the best nursery in Canary Wharf — if not all of London. My son joined them just before his first birthday and settled in within a week without much hassle. Since I was a working mom, I always felt I might miss out on important milestones, but the staff at KidsLab never made me feel that way. I received pictures and videos of all the special moments, and that made such a difference. What really sets them apart is how they include parents in the journey. The staff genuinely take the time to get to know the child through conversations with parents, so they can support each child better. I have had so many warm, thoughtful chats with the team, they are not transactional at all, and always make you feel like part of a family. The staff truly care, and they ensure that the children are constantly learning through activities, rhymes, garden playtime, drama, and dance classes — making sure there is holistic development and lots of joy in the process. My son is a curious, active child, and I have seen incredible growth, not just intellectually but also emotionally and socially. He has learnt empathy, discipline, and how to thrive in a social setup. I often get compliments about how intelligent he is, and a lot of that credit goes to the amazing team at KidsLab. “Wonderful nursery and amazing team here that has been looking after my child incredibly well for the last two years. They have been all very knowledgeable, caring and very supportive during every stages of my child's development. They plan lots of activities with and for children, encouraging participation from parents as well. Very quickly, the staff built the trust that I was very confident that kids grow and develop in a safe and comfortable environment in this nursery. The surroundings are beautiful as well. In addition to well-designed outdoor play area, the Chorleywood Estate gives unbelievable access to different animals, long walks, free play area in the nature. Lots of places to park your car too, which sometimes becomes an important thing to consider during busy drop off and pick up times. Overall, lovely community feel - highly recommend!”

“Ulyana has been a wonderful piano teacher to my daughter for the past 2.5 years. She is a passionate teacher and wants all of her students to reach their full potential. She is supportive and encouraging but at the same time expects her students to be disciplined and to work hard. A good balance and my daughter doesn't want any other teacher for piano, a strong sign of an excellent teacher. I highly recommend Ulyana, definitely one of the best!”

His confidence around the water has always been great but he’s been making rapid progress with the actual swimming since starting. The owners/directors Caterina and Judit are a strong and reliable team who have the children's interests truly at heart and a very respectful way of working with them. All three of my children will have been under the care of C&J and their team and I couldn't be happier. The nursery building itself is a great space with many different areas including the art room, quiet room for stories, the stage, the garden, baby room, food and kitchen area and of course the main hall with all the Montessori resources. You can actually go inside for pick up and drop off which makes a difference when it's raining :) There is also spanish and drama sessions by external providers who do a brilliant job.”

“We had visited quite a few nurseries for my 18-month old and and were thrilled to find Crafty Wizards preschool which unusually for a preschool takes from 18-months. We love the format that all ages are mixed together promoting peer learning and the setting is intimate and personal. The staff are wonderful and really care about the kids. There are two gardens, one of which is a bit like a small forest school with a mud kitchen, which our little one loves. Since day 1 he’s been so happy to be there with zero separation anxiety. Highly recommend to other parents who want something different to the usual nursery format.”
