Minal was also wonderful as she went above and beyond when she taught my son phonics, reading and counting - she was brilliant. “Lived there for 4 months and enjoyed each bit of my time there. Ideally located hall, just a few walking steps away from grocery shops, pizza and kebab shops and bus stops leading to Uxbridge high street and Heathrow airport. The rooms inside the hall are pretty spacious and well equipped with a modern looking kitchen that includes cabinets, oven and electric stoves.”

“The Appletree team nurtured and moulded our little girl from the age of 1 until she was ready to begin school. From the day she joined we noticed her development going from strength to strength and soon noticed improvements in her vocabulary and motor skills. Our daughter created a bond with the staff which was nurtured as she progressed through baby room into toddler room where the team helped her with her independence. The Appletree setting has a real homely feel whilst maintaining a professional approach which gave my wife and I reassurance in knowing our little girl was safe and well cared for. “Our daughter currently attends the nursery (Feb 2019) and has been for 6 months now. She is very happy. The nursery stimulate her with a range of activities and she particularly enjoys messy activities and the sport coaches that come in on a weekly basis. The nursery holds events for parents / family members to attend e.g. an afternoon to celebrate grandparents which gives a really personal feel. I can not fault the staff - the ladies who look after her are caring and work really hard to create an engaging, fun environment for the children and truly care about them and their needs. They have taken the time to really get to know my child- her personality, likes, dislikes etc. Management have a clear vision for the nursery to further improve it and I have no doubt that they will. They take time and effort to gather parent views and are passionate about making the nursery the best it can be.”

Even my highly picky Chinese mother loves the beef ho fun from here. She never eats from Chinese takeaways or outside London. For a start it's amazing to find Ho fun anywhere locally. “Tropics Grill has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat. The moment you walk in, you get hit with that fresh-grill aroma that tells you the food is actually being cooked, not just microwaved. I tried the steak plate this time, and it was tender, flavorful, and cooked exactly how I asked. The rice and veggies were seasoned perfectly — not bland like most places. What stood out the most was the service. The staff treated me like a regular even though it was only my second visit. They’re attentive without hovering, and they seem to genuinely care that customers enjoy their meals. Prices are reasonable, portions are satisfying, and the quality is consistently good. I wish more places had this level of customer care and attention to detail. If you’re thinking about trying Tropics Grill — do it. You won’t regret it.”
